The ILO's study on world employment and social outlook highlights the reduction of 1.6% (that amount to $2.4 trillion) in global labour income between 2004-2024. It's the amount that employees would have earned if the income remained static. India's condition is exacerbated by unemployed youth and lack of job creation. Also the employment share of women in workforce is less as compared to men in workforce. The Universe Basic Income (UBI) & inheritance tax will facilitate in bringing parity. Thank you 😇

Gender inequality is also foregrounded in aspects of inequality. It estimate 28.2% young women are umployed which is double of 1.3% young men. Most countries are seeing UBI as better served for the problem and prominent for sustainable development , Developing countries like india should seriously consider reintroduction of an inherent tax to effectively tackle with the problem. The ILO's world employment and social outlook study has discussed the declination in labour's income mainly due to artificial intelligence . In past two decades global labour income decrease by 1.6% between 2004-2024 it seems like normal but actually it is 2.4 trilian dollar and 40% declination of the it was from pandemic years.the study also highlights the gender inequality. Almost 1/3rd of the world's young women are not employed and they are double that of man.The age of working population is increasing and problem in job creation. In switzerland on UBI defeated in 2016 when Andrew Yang decided to give 'Freedom Dividend ' of $1,000 to American adult every month but it failed. Also Rahul Gandhi made a proposal of ₹12,000 a month to every month and named as "final assualt on poverty". Thank u for the amazing session mam❤🎉

Labour income share is one of the essential points to measure the inequality of any country. According to the international labour organization's word employment and social outlook latest study, there is a drop of 1.6% in global labour's income share between 2004-2024. 40% of this drop is in pandemic years of 2019-2022. The reason behind this drop are advanced technology and artificial intelligence. So this is a time for government to play its role to overcome inequality by providing basic income to unemployed people and levys charge on inheritance property to maintain equality.

The increasing reliance on Al technology by maximum companies is likely to reduce day-by-day work opportunities for many laborers, thereby contributing to unemployment. Globally, this issue is more pronounced among females, with female unemployment rates being double those of males. The rise of Al is a primary concern exacerbating this problem Thank You Mam 🙏

It also shown 40% decline was in pandemic years ,which is still not recovered. As it is looking trivial decline but in actual it's another raising concern for all countries, one of the fact is gender inequality also women are double unemployed in comparison of men , 83% youth unemployed which is the biggest concerning points. Most companies are using AI that increasing high paid jobs. For resolving all these things government should address equal income and think about more job creation and readdress inheritance tax . Today's editorial According to the Study of International Labour Organization (ILO) advancement of technology like use of Artificial intelligence (AI) and automation had reduced the income of labours in most of the developing countries. In past two decades the decline is about 1.6% numerically $2.4 trillion, mostly during years of pendemic, which is half of India's nominal GDP forecast for FY2023-24. Also there is gender disparity in unemployment ratio (Unemployed women are double to that of men)and in India about 83% of the unemployed population is youth. So the government suggested private sectors to create more labour intensive jobs. Most of the countries are also discussing to implement Universal Basic Income (UBI).Need of UBI was already flagshiped by American tec investor Andrew Yang and in India by Rahul Gandhi during his election campaign in 2019. Now in the growing technical world it is impossible to remove use of AI but atleast we can attain Sustainable development goals like UBI to reduce wealth disparity in developing Nations like India. The article is about ILO's World Employment and Social Outlook Study, that highlighted the plight of raising unemployement and income inequality in developing nations amid rising AI and technical advancement. The study reveals that among unemployed population in India, 83% are its youth. The wide inequality among men and women being employed or involved in training is also major concern for the nations. Apparently, to cure the situation, government must ensure creation of more job opportunities and provide financial assistance to job seekers.

It also effects the job creation in nation. The ILO's World Emplyoment and social Outlook did a analysis of past two decades and mention a dorp of 1.6% in global labour income. Labour income is a reason of income inequality within economies. The study shows that in 2024, almost 28.2% of young women are unemployed and 13.1% men are unemployed. And all these things are alarming for developing nations. The ILO reported that in India almost 83% youth is unemployed.

The ILO's world employment and social outlook study reports that in the past two decades a 1.6% drop is seen in the global income share which is nearly $2.4 trillion and it is .mainly because of artificial intelligence. the study also shows that automation has led to a plunge in women employment rate which results to inequality for which many countries are sharing their views on universal basic income. In India Rahul gandhi during his election campaign suggested the similar type of providing 12,000 a month for each family. Also , it is inevitable that AI is a substantive part for our economy but at athis point we have to reintroduce the concept of inheritance tax in order to resuscitate the deterrent wealth inequaltiy. Namaste mam🙏 06/09/2024 The ILO's World Employment and Social Outlook study links declining labor's income share to technological advances like automation and AI. A 1.6% global drop in it between 2004-24, with almost 40% occurring during the pandemic years has led to $2.4 trillion in lost wages globally. The study also highlights that gender disparities persist, with nearly a third of young women not in employment, education, or training compared to half as many men. Countries are considering universal basic income as a solution, with proposals like a 'Freedom Dividend' and monthly payments in Switzerland, the US and India to address income inequality due to automation and AI. Reintroducing an inheritance tax is seen as a measure to redress wealth inequality and achieve Sustainable Development Goal 10.

ILO's report highlights a significant concern about labour income and job growth. According to this report we saw 1.6% drop in job growth since two decades. Advancement in technology and AI leads to decline in job and labour's income. ILO report also highlighted that approx 28% of the world's women youth and 13% youth men are unemployed. In India 83% of the unemployed population is youth, so we need to focus on the creation of jobs for the youth generation. Advancement in technology also leads to increase in labour pay but this creates more inequality among people. Government should use inheritance tax policy to make stability and focus on UBI (Universal Basic Income) for those who have capability but getting no opportunity. Thankyou mam😊 Please rate out of 10..

According to ILO's study, the issue of poverty for two decades is that due to Artificial Intelligence, the labour's income is declining. On the global level, 1.6% labour income has decreased, though it seems like a normal loss but in reality it's the loss of about $2.4 trillion. In India, 83% of employment sector is youth. On the basis of gender, women's employment rate is double in the comparison of men's employment rate. In the meeting in Switzerland, decided to give a ' Freedom Dividend' of $1,000 per month to every American adult but that decision had been cancelled. As well as in 2019, the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also made a proposal to give ₹12,000 to every family and he called it ' the last assault on poverty'. Some industries pretend that the high paying jobs is created so that they can hide reality. The only solution is to make some decisions of universal basic income and the private sector should offer some jobs for unemployed youth. Thank you ma'am ☺️❤️

The IOL's world Employment and social outlook study of declining trends in labour's income share. This declining main reason was automation and artificial intelligence AI. Almost 40% of this decline was in pandemic year of 2019-2022 and that has not be revemped in the past couple of years. This 1.6% decline in labour income share amount is $2.4 trillion that is more than half of India's nominal GDP forecast for FY2023-24. The study also highlights inequality on the base of gender aspects. The young women unemployment rate is double that of young men unemployment rate. And since 2004-2024 globally labour income mitigates 1.6% and its 40% labour income reduce during covid pandemic . And until we did not rebounce it. Since 2004 globally we lost $2.4 trillion capital which were more than the India's gdp , settled for 2023-2024. Despite the study also tells us about the income inequaliies .more than twice of young women are unemployed, illiterated. And there are also risk of jobs for young generations and future generations due to automation and AI. Although the use of AI is not changable and to reduce income inequality may be UBI help us. Today's Editorial The ILO's report on employment indicates a rise in unemployment and a decline in labour's share of income due to automation and artificial intelligence. There is a drop of 1.6%,i.e. $2.4 trillion, in global labour income. It also states that the share of young women in unemployment is double to that of young men, which is also not a good indicator. Further, government has also prescribed the private sector to create labour intensive jobs to combat unemployment. In 2016, the proposals suggested on UBI has also been rejected due to high cost. However to conclude it is said that the effect of technology is irrevokable but measures like inheritance tax can be adopted to solve the problem of income disparity.

The study also highlights the gendered aspect of this inequality as one third of the world young women is not in employment and education . Today's Editorial:- Recently International Labour Organization (ILO) published its report which depict that global employment rate decline to 1.6% equivalent to half of India's GDP projection for FY23-34. This decline is due to the advancement in technology and Artificial Intelligence which replaces the Human workforce. However the companies stated that despite decline in labour force there is also increase in number of high paying jobs in the company. According to ILO report there is not only crisis of unemployment but also gender inequality in the labour force, in India 83% are unemployed young youth and in which the no. of young unemployed female is double than that of male. Countries introduced UBI ( universal basic income) which was rejected and criticized by their parliament. In India Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi also asked about Rs12000 per month to every unemployed member of a family during 2019 election campaigns. The unemployment rate is increasing day by day and countries should take immediate action to address this concern. Thank u ❤

Description of the day International Labour Organisation (ILO) World employment and social outlook Study, In September has stated that due to automation and AI the labour force around the world has decreased by 1.6% i.e about $2.3 trillion, And was dropped by 40% at the time of pandemic. The Study also highlights gender inequality, as about 1/3rd of the female youth around the world are unemployed which is double of male population which is 13.1%. Another ILO report on the status of employment in india estimates that about 83% youth in India is unemployed and as a developing nation India having a jobless growth. Several countries has broached the idea of a universal basic income (UBI). The plebiscite in Switzerland on UBI was defeated in 2016, while the American investor Andrew Yang mainstreamed a 'freedom dividend' of $1000 to every American adult. It is now the time that developing nations like India consider the reintroduction of an inheritance tax to rebound the wealth inequality.

Today's Editorial Summary A recent report published by the International Labour Organization (ILO) highlights the decline in the labor income share of the total global income. It shows a drop of 1.6%, equating to a loss of $2.4 trillion, which is roughly half of India's GDP forecast for the financial year 2023-2024. The main reasons for rising unemployment and increasing income inequality are attributed to the acceleration of automation and AI technologies. To address unemployment and income inequality, it has been proposed that India reintroduce an inheritance tax as a potential solution to tackle wealth inequality in developing nations. On a global scale, the introduction of a universal basic income (UBI) scheme, distributing $1,000 as a dividend to American youth, has also been suggested. However, to effectively enhance these measures, it is essential to align with sustainable development goals, particularly in reducing inequality and unemployment.

Today's editorial crux According to the recent scenario, AI (Automation Intelligence) is on hipe and because of it the jobs for youth are declining year on year. which create deperation among youth. The Government and Companies should come up with more labour-based jobs. Among unemployed people, there are 83% are young youth, which is a biggest matter of concern. It is perhaps, India like developing country should consider an inheritance tax as a measure to rederss wealth ineuality.

According to ILO'S report at present all countries became so much obsessed with the use of AI that they are not showing that much interest in the matter of rising unemployment rate which is going to create a big problem for all of us in future and also this is creating a gender inequality too according to report near 1/3 women are unemployed which is almost half of the unemployed men all over the world. If we talk about India here also unemployment rate is very high specially among the youth cause job creation became a challenging task for the govt and those who are employed most of them are senior citizens and now govt is prescribing many private sectors to invest in labour intensive employment to create job opportunities

The ILO's world economic and social study report evaluated a drop of 1.6 % which is equivalent to 2.4 million dollar has seen in income share due to the automation and AI technology. This is the lowest income share since 2004. 40% of this income deficit was arrise during pandemic that is not recouped yet. On the other hand 28.2% young women are unemployed , that causes gender inequality . Economical turmoil may be arrised as GDP of a nation is depended on labour income. As a solution some nation decided to provide UBI to help young unemployed people but this can not be a permanent solution. Due to the presence of AI there is much availability of high paying job . In this you govt must skill properly to the young youth so that they can get job . Thank you!

Evolution of AI and automation is definitely one of the major reasons of declining job opportunities for today's youth. ILO has concluded the same . Past two decades analysis has clearly mentioned a 1.6% drop in global income share, which is yet to be recouped. Along with this we have been witnessing gender disparity as well that shows,28.2% women and 13.1% men are still unemployed. UBI was introduced in many nations albiet it was aborted. Developing nations like India should reintroduce inheritance tax to redress inequality trends.

The International Labour Organization (ILO) has released a number of recent reports on World Employment and Social Outlook. This report forecasts a slight increase in global unemployment in 2024. It also highlights the disparities between high and low-income countries. The need for policy interventions to ensure a fair and sustainable global economic recovery. India Employment Report 2024 This report highlights that India's youth continue to face high unemployment rates of 83%. Global Wage Report 2022-2023 This report found that wage employees lost an average of six weeks of wages during 2020-21 due to the COVID-19 crisis. Globally 28.2% and 13.1% men and women are not working. It also raised a question against gendered aspects of inequality. Several countries suggested Universal basic income but it got rejected due to their high cost. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also proposed to give 12000 per unemployed member of a family in 2019. But in my opinion government and as well as private sector should also release some post for youth and other also. In which both country and people's got benefited. Thank you so much ma'am ❤

"On the ILO's World Employment and Social Outlook study" The latest ILO's World Employment and Social Outlook study has shown declining trends in the labour's income share of the total income within nations . One of the analysis has shown a drop of 1.6% in the global labour income which is $2.4 trillion over the last 2 decades(2004-24). Main reasons behind this drop is said to be the rapid growth of technology and artificial intelligence. Where the advancements in A.I has caused a lot of labour employment issues globally , it has given birth to many new high paying jobs .This has exacerbated the whole income inequality issue all over the globe. The study also highlights the gendered aspect of this inequality as one third of the world young women is not in employment and education . Another report shows that in India itself 83% of the unemployed are the youth . Many economist and countries has suggested the idea of the universal basic income(UBI) and Inheritance Tax as a potential solution for this problem.
