I just can’t get past that Ethereum made critical design choices early on that mimic mistakes by MySpace. Others have learned from the first mover’s mistakes and one of those will become our industry’s Facebook. In the mean time, Eth Maxis will continue to espouse the grandeur of their bandaids while casting tech shade elsewhere. we're doing the hard things. "throw more power at that box" is a cop-out. short-termism will follow its course. That's why top banks and big players such as Sony only use Ethereum and the EVM ecosystem. It's the only place they can get reliable guarantees. I do agree with you that it is complicated and the Ethereum Foundation is so shitty and mostly toxic to the community.

Check eUTXO vs accountings model. That’s the issue, global state vs parallel processing, ETH being stuck on the global state mindset is going to make it irrelevant, BTC is coming to cardano, both UTXO chains, trustless bridge, zk stuff is piece of cake and cheap when it is only a small chunk instead of the global state. Sidechains is coming online with evm compatibility, the L1 solution is going to be based on UTXO chains, eth is dead

Imagine if Solana had that mind set when they almost died. ETH is still #2 by a large margin and still leads in almost every metric that is not scalability based… it’s far from dead. What’s going to kill it? There is nothing like ETH out there everything else is taking the high bandwidth requirements route but good luck running a node at home.
