that doesn't even make sense. its artificially inflated because of staking and restaking. if you take out all of that solana has almost flipped its tvl. and there are chains that have massive tvl such as ton but still have low market caps. eth doesnt have any advantage anymore, it really doesnt. its out of date. its like trying to compare a landline to a smart phone. oh my landline can... wait... my landline cant do anything... oh wait it was here first but i... i have to stand by the wall to use it. yah go invest in landlines then.

@AdamH-n3l What you are saying doesn't make sense! Staking doesn't artifically boost the price, it actually lowers the price due to inflation. In fact SOL would have a higher price if it didn't have very high inflation.

@@davycrockett8886 its basic math. if there is 120 million coins and 40 million are staked you now have 80 million coins available for trading on the liquid market. if a group of buyers with buying power to purchase say 1 million total eth came into the market over the period of a month, they would be buying 1/80 (vs 1/120 if there wasnt a bunch of staked coins) . Thus their buying will push the price of the asset more easily (the asset will be more sensitive to buying power because there is less supply available on the market). This means that eth should move more sensitive to buying pressure. But it doesnt move at all as you can see, because even with all the staked eth (its similar to a whale holding 40 million eth in a cold storage) it still cant go up. It just shows how not only there isnt demand for eth, but there is actually something serious going on behind the scenes, because the price is actually falling instead of rising. even with etf, staking, 2.0 upgrade, trump win, all this so called bullish layer 2 garbage, the coin still gets faded. its because the big money is dumping. wait till the stakers start unwinding then your really gonna be screwed.

Transaction speed is as valuable to vendors as it is to consumers. Speed of transaction verification is absolutely vital in the new economy. I agree with 90% of the professors assessment with the exception that ETHs lack of speed and high cost will be competitive on a consumer level going forward. As he mentioned, shipping $50M works of art or massive stock trades, sure. But the vast majority of transactions are the ones required to replace Stripe and Paypal (middle-man organizations). That's the future. A payment system as fast and as sure as handing someone a $5 bill. That's SOL.

Different use case for each chain . If you want trade cat and dog shitcoins you go to Solana . If you to do defi or buy a home or a car with your crypto you use ETH . People would pay $20 for security . Solana is great for shitcoin trading.

I'm beginning to think this bull market will go a lot longer than expected. Sentiment doesn't feel like top market behavior. Many investors are still cautious. Retail still continues to doubt this rally while institutions accumulate. If we see significant downside in 1-4 months, it just doesn't feel like it would hurt most investors. ​@PvMLad yes SOL is better tech. ETH layer 1 is broken so they had to create layer 2s to fix the bandwith. SOL layer 1 is amazing and a great user experience and now with firedancer shouldn't have down time wver again.
