Worked in the corporate office for a decade back in the early 90’s. In fact, my boss and I were instrumental in starting the Legal Dept of the company, Consolidated Stores (Phillipi Rd, Columbus, OH). At that time, there were both Odd Lots and Big Lots stores, as well as a toy store chain. It’s so sad to see a company that was so successful close their doors. There’s so many people who will be out of work. Not only the employees of the stores, but also the corporate headquarters and the warehouse. My thoughts and prayers are with the employees and their families that are affected by the closure.

Not joe's fault that all the stores I have ever been in have 1 to 2 people in it at any given time. Shoppers that is. I have 4 stores around me and I visit them often.
