My life changed a lot and i am at a beautiful place but still unfortunatelly some nights i get triggered and my body shuts down or i feel dizzy. I've been both of these people in relationships, sometimes in the same relationship. We really do turn into our parents but that's not an excuse to act like them, and we really can change into the people we want to become. I'll never stop working on myself but I think I've healed a lot because this song used to be so visceral because it described the relationships I was in at the time, and now, it no longer does. it hurts less and less every time I listen.
