I believe we are flying this economic plane with untrained pilots now. I work with a guy who was an economics lecturer at a University here in Australia. Every few years hexwould apply for a position in treasury in Canberra. Do that for a few years and wash rinse and repeat, until one day he was rejected from the same position in treasury he always walked into. The problem with Bitcoin is it depends on the internet and power grid. If they go down indefinitely or you lose access, you have nothing. You only need to know/understand human behavior to realize that Bitcoin is *not* inviolable. Anything that can be done with electronics can be undone electronically. There's no such thing as an un-hackable electronic entity, with the rare exception of those units that are standalone (not hooked up to the internet) and only serve as storage. Here's a thought: what will Bitcoin holders do when their/any/all government outlaws cryptocurrencies?
