What's about to happen, is I will be planting my tomato seeds indoors to give them a good start. I've thought about giving 'no dig' techniques a go this year as I'm now 72 and digging is a bit more difficult, and 'no dig' seems to get good results. This year I'll probably grow potatoes, leeks and some parsnips for Christmas time. You folks that live on the stock market don't live in the real world - the real world where people matter more than profit. Good luck. :)

Problem is, the stock market influences real-life economy for all the people who don't have terrain enough as to grow all what they eat - which I don't think it is your case. You sound like someone who grows vegetables for pleasure, not for need, and definitely not like a farmer whose seeds, pesticides, sales prices depend on the international market, and who needs immigrant laborers for reaping. The Great Depression started in the stock market, and killed the economies of many countries. Considering the insane measures the next administration is hellbent on pursuing, you better plan your crops for survival rather than for pleasure. Can you keep a few chicken? Eggs won't cost cheaper.
