We've added a 2020 RAM 3500 HD 6.7L H.O. (High Output) to our fleet of Banks test vehicles. The new truck joins a 2015 RAM 2500 6.7L, 2016 RAM 1500 3.0L, and 2007.5 RAM 3500 6.7L dually.
UPDATE: THE FOLLOWING PARTS ARE NOW AVAILABLE FOR THE 2019+ RAM 6.7.
Monster-Ram Intake Manifold (intake elbow)
Flows 936 cfm, a 122% increase over stock! The stock elbow and heater kill airflow into your engine. Get back all that power you lose and gain a more responsive, power efficient engine. Improve airflow from the intercooler. Raise boost without increasing backpressure at the turbine. And, like all Banks equipment, it's 50-state emissions compliant.
👉 www.bankspower...
PedalMonster Throttle Booster
Bring your vehicle to life with PedalMonster. City, Sport, Track with 30 levels of control. The only OBD-II connected throttle sensitivity controller. Adjustable low-speed trim, reverse safety, and ActiveSafety circuitry included!
👉 www.bankspower...
Ram-Air rear differential cover (for 12" ring gear, 14-bolt)
Out-performs stock and flat-back high-capacity covers and does so with less lubricant. Banks Ram-Air differential cover extends lubrication life and retains fuel economy. Increased distance between service intervals and less lubricant means you'll save money while extending gear life.
👉 www.bankspower...
Check bankspower.com for new parts!
***
What’s brewing for RAM/Cummins product development? First off, the truck is currently equipped with the iDash DataMonster which captures and logs all of the information from the otherwise stock truck. This will help both the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Teams baseline the truck's performance. Tucked under the dash is a PedalMonster throttle booster which is monitored and controlled by the iDash DataMonster.
A Ram-Air Differential Cover for the 14-bolt AAM differential has made its way through R&D and has been approved for production. We expect to see it available to RAM owners in Spring 2021. But it’s the development of the Derringer, Ram-Air intake system, the 5” Monster Zero-Backpressure Exhaust, 50-state legal Monster-Ram intake manifold, intercooler upgrade, and high-flow boost tubes that cement a robust product group for the late model Cummins. All of these products combined will not only offer RAM owners unrivaled power and efficiency but safety features exclusive to Banks.

CP4’s leave a bad taste in everyone’s mouth. The horror stories come in stock form or tuned trucks. Higher miles or months off the lot. They are a ticking time bomb. I don’t think additional filtration is the answer on these, and that’s why so many do a CP3 conversion. Just my .02 of course.
@ChaseLandMgmt
@ChaseLandMgmt 3 жыл бұрын
@@scottleggejr the CP3 is capable of flowing more fuel than a CP4, however I believe this is at a lower pressure than a CP4. We're still having our way with it, parts development has taken a little longer than expected. As of of now, we offer the iDash (both DataMonster and SuperGauge), the PedalMonster Throttle Sensitivity Booster, and the emissions compliant Monster-Ram Gen-2 intake manifold. Within the next few months we are dropping the Ram Air intake system, Ram Air Diff cover, 5" Monster Exhaust, and finally the Derringer. For the Derringer we love to hear that you're excited, however, it's take a little longer than expected. The RAM 6.7 requires timing and pulse-width control as well as FRP and MAP. This means it's a whole new circuit board and firmware. It shares nothing with the Duramax, not even the housing. By the end of winter, all parts will be available. 👍

My uncle ram I think it was the 6 gunner on his 06 2500 and messed up the transmission. Anyways after having the truck for almost 12 years, he upgraded. He drove from Florida to Texas to get a 2019 RAM 3500 dually with the HO. It’s also the mega cab as that’s what he had on his 2500 but his is also the Laramie Longhorn so he’s got a lot of creature comforts like heated and cooled seats and that H/K sound system. Anyways we’ve noticed the truck is stupid fast for a stock truck of its size and when he hails his trailer with it, you forget it’s there 😂

And the truck power wise would rip everything apart IV had to rebuild the truck around the motor pretty much. It’s at 300,000 miles now the best work truck I have and will ever own because I don’t plan on replacing it just parts.

I can easily put two pallets of porcelain tile and 50 bags of thinset mortar back there. I go from Ventura, up the camarillo grade on 101hwy with no problems. Back in the day (early 70’s) Mack came out with the original 237hp Maxidyne diesel with a straight 5 speed transmission behind it. This combo only worked because of the extreme torque rise (53%) bad wide torque range of that engine, it made over 900 ft-lbs which was more than a 290 Cummins at the time and at a far lower RPM. I guess Ram is using the same theory…wider power band, higher torque and a good torque rise curve for lugging mean less gears are needed. Mack’s big claim to fame was you only needed 5 gears with the Maxidyne vs the traditional 10 speed for other engines.

When you said I can't wait to start rolling out the products at the end. I swear rolling coal was what I heard. Very exciting series I hope some will work on my 2011 3500.

You will never hear " rolling coal" from this guy. He and his company are way to good and responsible for that nonsense.

@@justinmartin8887 some company’s just can’t be cracked. Even company’s that work with the oem. Dinan that makes aftermarket parts for bmw that bmw will not cancel the oem warranty when modded or tuned by them. Even they couldn’t get past bmws ecu encryption. They had to make and design there own ecu.

"Needs a different turbo charger at high altitudes...or tuning" You couldn't be more correct. There is a serious flaw at altitude with these trucks RAM/Cummins has not fixed after more than a year. Put a cummins on a steep mountain road and attempt to drive it at 60mph up that incline where the engine RPM's are low around 1400 and the turbo boost is around 12psi and you get really bad surging of the turbo, it's incredibly annoying. If Banks can fix this I want their solution because RAM has failed to fix it.

All the content was great here, I'd just like to note that that truck would not have a 7680 lb payload limit, being a single rear wheel diesel. Only the DRW Hemi would have that number. This truck probably only has a payload capacity around 3500-4000 ish lbs or so, although the towing is legendary.
