Episode 199.9? Hope nobody is complaining about the 200th Episode not turning up. You have a business to run and people to manage, AND you manage to film, edit, and present a great video every week, I think you deserve a bit of slack. That Alfa, what can you say about it? Stunning thing. My favourite Retropower creation.

I have to say... Richard REALLY has taken to this like a duck to water! I'm constantly impressed by your staff, and their levels of commitment and professionalism. In the last 2 or 3 episodes, I remember thinking to myself how professional the 2 young lads in "The CAD Den" are, and what a waste of space I was at their age! 😂 But Richards level of skill, detail and enthusiasm, and how relaxed and informative he's become on camera, his willingness to show how his art is carried out, it really is extremely impressive. All of you are an incredible testament to the Retropower family. 🤝🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

So happy, Nat making a joke about filler caps and their fit made the camera man stifle a laugh. I may have run it back a few times just because it really made me smile 😊

Richard do you ever have experience of split leather showing perforation ( possibly a heavy insect bite when the animal was still alive) after it has been split even though it was selected as “perfect” before it was split?

Hasport, Innovative Mounts, and make replacement shift linkages for the Integra, that'd solve your issue with the worn joint. Honed Developments have a very nice upgrades joint available as well.

Interesting observations about water evacuation from the Jenson's tailgate. This is not the first car to have such a subject. I suppose offering the owner a chamois leather for rainy day use was seen to be borderline cheeky, but imho it is more successful than the gutters in the boot!

Although there was none of what my question is about is covered in this video, I was just watching something and it reminded me of something I wanted to ask you guys. After you have completed your media blasting jobs, how do you go about cleaning all the residual media that must be stuck in all sorts of nook and crannies? How do you get it clean enough to ensure there are no particles lingering around that could be blown loose during painting? Regarding this episode, another stonker. Your attention to detail and forward planing always impresses me. Cheers, Neil :-}
@Jonathan_Doe_4 ай бұрын
Guessing vacuuming and blasting it out with an airline. Most builds seem to end up having the sills and chassis box sections opened up for repairs or modifications, so maybe they clear anything that’s left out at that point.
@TazR64 ай бұрын
@@Jonathan_Doe_ From my experience with going to a beach, you still find sand in places after a few days. I assume the media used for blasting has particles smaller than grains of sand flying around. I cannot fathom every last trace is removed. You are probably right though.

Massively disagree about the Jag's more curved rear arches! I always loved the rear arches on the XJC and find them instantly recognisable. They described a lovely flattened curve into the straight lines of the rear wraparound bumpers. When I see that shape I immediately think "Jag........ class!". No idea why you'd change something so iconic
