Introduction: Kumara Parvatha is temporarily closed or banned due to unexpected long weekend mass crowd. We are the last batch to finish this trekking. See full video to see in depth details of what exactly happened during the trekking. Previous day to our trekking there were 1600 people and our day batch were 600 trekkers. Kumara Parvatha consist of mostly dry lands and sunny skies. There were hardly water and food facilities at the top. Every one has to wait for hours to get food and water and most of the trekkers consumed recourses of forest which forest team to make hard decisions. They are going to implement online booking system where only 150 people could go in one day.
