RE:- Incendiary weapons. Most people don't realize that the use of Nukes at Hiroshima & Nagasaki weren't the most lethal bombing attacks of WW2. That was the Tokyo Firestorm of 9th/10th March 1945, recognized as the single most lethal single bombing event in human history. Over 100,000 died, and a million+ were made homeless in a single night...

@HockeyVictory665 ай бұрын
I disagree. The effects of the Hiroshima bomb killed about 140k by the end of 1945. That includes the blast and acute radiation poisoning. Thousands died young from the long term affects of radiation for decades. The houses destroyed in the fire bombing were easily rebuilt. The devastation from the nukes took years to rebuild and some places had too much radiation to even start construction after a few years.

I am told that one of the reasons behind germanys outrage at shotguns being used like that were because shotguns were only used by the nobility when hunting deer, so when the Americans used shotguns on them it was unthinkable to them and they took it as Americans thinking of them not as soldiers but deer to be hunted. Either way they hated that slam fire pump shotgun technique in the trenches enough to threaten to execute every american found in possesion of a shot gun or shells.

hollow points are illegal in war but the police use them. So to get around this our military uses the m16/ar15/m4 which instead of an ak47 .30 cal hollow point, they use .223 "soft point" where the nose of the bullet is copper jacketed but hollow. This is actually much worse then a hollow point. Because when the bullet hits soft tissue it topples. So you shoot someone in the stomach and the bullet comes out their leg doing incredible damage as it spins around the body. So a soft point is worse then a hollow point but technically legal. I have been shot by a hollow point but if that was a soft point I wouldnt be typing this right now.
