If we're predicting a new archetype meta in 3.x, I think it also makes sense for them to rerun their best sellers to maximize earnings / drain stellar jade savings before introducing new DPS types as well.

If Sunday does happen to buff summon meta, then I honestly thing that Jing Yuan will be his rerun banner character. It'll be the same way Topaz was Robin's rerun character and then Robin reran with Feixiao and Topaz with Lingsha right after. They often put either similar types of characters, or ones that could work well together on reruns. Or in Rappa's case, since her sales may not be the highest, they put Acheron as the rerun because she is still the queen of hypercarry crit dps if you were stupid and skipped Feixiao.

Tbh, I REALLY hope they do rerun Dr. Ratio soon. I want to get his signature on my true F2P account. I could try for Acheron over rappa for AoE crit dps, but I also don't have a super break 5-star carry like Firefly or Boothill on my F2P account. I'm REALLY torn on what I should save for since there are so many options now.

In my opinion, they'll also need to possibly think about adding some characters to the standard banner (Seele, since we have no Quantum on standard banner), or another banner type like what Genshin made to get specific 5-star characters you want to pull for without needing to wait for their actual banners.

Leaks aside, I honestly don't think 2.8 will be a thing, that will be having 3 filler patches, idk if they would do that from a business viewpoint, unless we make a trip back to Jarilo VI with a insane storyline (could work I guess). We'll see I guess. On Dr. Ratio, you could get him free up to end of 2.1, which makes 10 banners since he was technically available (to end of 2.6), so that's something to take into account too. He is well overdue though for people that were playing since 1.6 or before.

0:39 thats because they wanted a summer update. Its more likely that 2.7 will be the last 2.x patch, as 1.6 went up to december, and 2.7 will be december. Genshin's 1.6 still went up to the same time of the year than their 2.8, 3.8 and 4.8 patches. Also side note, how is seele not predicted a rerun when her last banner was a year ago, but feixiao is predicted when her last banner was 20 days ago???

Imagine 2.8 would be trip back to Belobog and Herta space as filler patch, rerun Seele or potential Screwllum banner (coping) before 5 star Herta.

Chinese players spent $$$ during the lunar new year, so Hoyo will likely put a bestseller (i.e. Feixiao) in that patch. So the lunar new year patch could have Feixiao and maybe even Jing Yuan and the rest of the Xianzhou crew. If the summon meta is indeed coming, Hoyo may also release a summon character in 3.0 to encourage the players to learn about the play style... Just like Dr. Ratio, who taught us about the follow-up team comp and the debuff team comp.

2.6 is a filler patch, then 2.7 might be a closure for the whole Penacony story with Sunday redemption arc and whatnot. If there is a 2.8 it has to be an introduction to Fugue and how we can help her regain her memories by taking her along the express to Amphoreus, because I think fitting 2 different narratives (Sunday's redemption and Tingyun's resurrection) on 2.7 doesn't make sense

Dr Ratio rerun could make sense for 3.0 or 3.1, since this is gonna be a new patch where the planet is Greek inspired and he’s currently the most in need of a rerun time wise

Hm.. So if Sunday is the Support for the new DPS meta, then his rerun could potentially happen when said new DPS will actually be released or shortly after 🤔 Kind of what was done with Firefly + Ruan Mei and Feixiao + Robin (and in reverse with Sparkle and Imbibitor, two times even) Helps with planning: i might prefer to wait first his kit in details and then what this meta would be like

Firefly is definitely going to be the same patch as Fugue. Maybe even Ruan Mei again. They seem to want to rerun units you need for a whole team next to each other now.

I have a gut feeling there's a decent chance that Jade takes longer than usual to come back, because (at least if Internet discussion is indicative of anything) she was a particularly unpopular and unprofitable banner, which would incentivize them to rerun her slower, and possibly pair her with a less hyped/more doomposted new character (which we're definitely not getting in 2.7, maybe 2.8, otherwise likely not until after the 3.x main story is finished). I think the slot she's given here is likely to be taken by a second re-run, maybe of Silver Wolf, who goes nicely with the Acheron a lot of people will have just picked up, helps the relatively recently released Rappa do better outside PF, and hasn't rerun for a very long time. I don't actually know if we have any numbers as to how Jade's banner performed, so if anyone does know I would be curious.

I think they'll go to Quad banners again in 2.7, So this is what I'll predict for the banners (and I think we will go into 3.0 after 2.7, as Lunar new year 2024 was around the 2.0 Banner, I don't see why they would do 2.8, unless they were to do Latern Ride HSR edition. 2.7: Sunday: Reruns: Jing Yuan, Jingliu or Seele, Ratio or Yunli 2.7: Fugue: Reruns: Firefly 3.0: ????: Reruns: Boothill, Loucha or Silver wolf, Blade or who doesn't rerun in 2.7 3.0 ????: Reruns: Jade

Aventurine's kit favors FUA more, he's part of FART team. Eventually everyone will get Gallagher so Lingsha is only required for players who need break healers in two endgame teams.

We haven't had a seele rerun since 1.4, a silver wolf rerun since 1.5 and a blade rerun since 1.6. So my prediction is that they are coming back soon. If not then they are forgotten and that makes me sad😢😢😢😢

2.7 A-Sunday,Seele 2.7 B- Fugue, Boothill/Firefly 3.0- Dr. Ratio, New Character Mine will be like this.. since Seele could benefit on Sunday's hypercarry buffs.. then for Firefly I'm not sure but they could do it so that people drain their jades before 3.0 if they're not greedy then Boothill might have a rerun instead.

without Ruan Mei, it is a bit difficult because Firefly needs the enemies to be Broken in order to deal her massive damage. Ruan Mei is at the moment the only unit that gives Break Efficiency (and as a party buff) which helps break quicker and increases the SuperBreak damages. in my humble opinion, it is difficult to recommand the "Break meta" without Ruan Mei. Even if an other unit would have Break Efficiency (rumors say so), pairing both just like Jiaoqiu is paired with Pela seems like ideal plan for a Break Team (Ruan Mei would then also play the role of a pseudo sustain since she delays the enemy recovery).

Certainly a strong team, indeed ! Although, if you are used to Firefly E2, keep in mind that at E0 she uses Skill Points even in her SAM form. That makes her a bit less comfortable to use because she is so fast there may not be other units to use Basic Attacks in between. That is why generally people say that her E1 is better than her LC.
