very nice video. Only 2 mistakes have been made. First: no basements second: its in the UK :P
@lukeson89348 жыл бұрын
some houses don't need basements and the uk is there home place
@Andreas46967 жыл бұрын
Don't think they use basements in the UK. They don't in several places in the US, notably Florida, due to the porous ground.

no need for basement :P

The vans and cabover trucks gave it away for me. That and all the brick. Houses in the US are made of wood, and construction workers drive pickup trucks.

Has anyone any idea as to what the roofing material is on these old chicken sheds ?. It used to be quite common to roof chicken sheds with asbestos corrugated sheets, as it had certain heat retaining proprieties. The roofing material looks like asbestos sheets. If it is the case that the roofing is asbestos , then to dismantle such material in this manner , contaminating the entire site and surrounding areas is beyond belief and criminal. Can someone please enlighten . .

mulders drift it's more than likely cement fibre asbestos sheeting has about 0.008% asbestos inside it (I've stripped many of the sheets off) breaking them won't release the fibres inside but if you take a grinder or something to make it a fine powder then you will be releasing the asbestos Into the atmosphere, if they are asbestos then technically they shouldn't be breaking them up but depending on age they usually crumble up anyways. Hope this helps

mulders drift They defiantly look like asbestos sheets to me, the cement fibre ones are usually more light grey
@freyallarganswald47465 жыл бұрын
mulders drift it looks like corrugated asbestos/concrete mix. It was a commonly used material on industrial roofs and garages. There is usually strict controls on demolishing and disposing the sheets.

Its all a bit 20th century - same old same old. When in Australia I noticed their new houses are much more family oriented homes - shared spaces - this is just recycling the ideas from the post war housing boom.

WOW!!!! You took an UGLY site and ripped away the unsightly buildings, replacing them with 5 beautiful multimillion pound pastoral luxury mansions each over 5,200 sq ft that respect the Sussex countryside. Good for you. I have the colour brochure on this site now, as well as some other flagship priced high-end trophy Banner developments like Regency Gate, Montagu Gate, Egerton Park, Hill View Road, Bournewood Grove, The Spinney, and White Friars. Can't wait for brochures for Woodland Way!
