Do you really believe in the sufficiency of Scripture? Gen.2:3 says God 'blessed the seventh day and sanctified it'. That's good enough for me. But 'many' think that 'in His name' they can change it. What a 'wonderful work'! And 'many' would 'cast out' those asking, Is it not blessed and sanctified any longer? Where in Scripture did God unbless and unsanctify it? Solomon must have been wrong, when he wrote, 'I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be forever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before Him' (Eccl.3:14). Put a wax nose on it, like others. No thanks! I believe in sola scriptura, while others belie that they do too. I would say to you, 'If they hear not Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though ONE rose from the dead' (Lu.16:31). Oh, this gives us permission to change it, because Christ rose on sunday! Really, you don't say, Matthew said it was 'In the end of the sabbath', when the two Marys went to see, He was already risen. Well, glory! That's good enougb for me. Only sophists and pundits would claim that 'one day in seven' is the same thing. Early Christians observed both The seventh day, and the first day, taking literally, and spiritually, Jesus' words in John 5:23. Research proves it. Did it myself, the Lord helping me. Proof sure helps relieve my conscience (1Tim.1:5).

If it is so, that in eternity, somehow, we will see/know what various persons or places have been used by the Lord in His work on this old sin cursed earth...and especially know how His church has been aided, then Banner of Truth since the late 1950's up to now will,by God's grace have mention. I know what it has done for me, for so many others also...almost 60 years since a believer in Jesus approached Iain Murray (& Martyn Lloyd-Jones) and wanted to know if he could be of help (he had means) in republishing the great old Puritan and Calvinistic, etc books. Iain is with us in 2017 and he tells the story so well...and my oh my, what Banner has become. God bless all things related to the Banner publishing, the Conferences, all of it...wl

I believe Paul addressed your question in 1 Tim 2:12 and 3:2.
