You raised a good point regarding lack of workout of dogs which often leads to aggressive behaviour. In my locality there small private residences... Many of them own or prefer to own such dangerous dog breeds merely to showoff. But when it comes to providing even minimal workout, they fail to do so. Those dogs are kept inside all the time with hardly any toys or other enrichments. I wish people would come up with business plans of dog training and excercise centers... It may address various problems.

Commercial Breeding of dogs should be banned. Breeding (and incest involved in commercial breeding) is the cause for unexpected behaviour of dogs. Not to mention it is pretty unethical as breeders treat dogs as "sabzi bhaaji'. People should be encouraged to adopt street dogs (mutts).

Sabse badi galti jo pet owners karte hai ki Dog ko proper exercise nahi karwate aur phir jab vo sara din over-active rehta hai apni energy release karne ke liye to usse pareshan ho kar bandh dete hai. Guard dog banane ke chakkar me puppy ko socialised nahi karte, jisse strangers ke liye vo agressive ho hi jata hai. Pet Parenting me hi bahut sare loop holes hai. Har breed Har Ghar yaa Family ke liye nahi bani hoti. Bahut jaruri hai samjhana ki pet adopt karne se pehle aap khud apni requirement samjhe. Breed ke expenses samjhe. Puppy se understanding and bonding banana bahut jaruri hai vo trained apne aap ho jata hai.

I had 2 dogs named Jimmy and Jack, I was out of the city for one week. After returning home I saw that someone killed my Jimmy by hitting a Rod in her head. She was just a (2 months) puppy. From my childhood, I had lost 11 dogs killed by poisoning. I am afraid of adopting a new puppy because of this. Around 1 month ago when I was returning home from the office I saw them (Jimmy and Jack)in the roadside jungle. They couldn't survive. That's why I brought them home. I was wrong. I couldn't protect her.

They suffer from many diseases they find difficult to survive in Indian climate. Still people buy them just to showcase them as pride. the way some owners ho keep dogs like pitbuls and rowillers they can even make labras aggressive and dangerous, banning them isn't a solution as banning will just increase their demands in illegal ways, either the govt. should pass guidelines that if you want to adopt dogs like this you should have at least years of experience with these breeds and people should be appointed in localities to make check that these types of breeds are getting adequate exercise and training so that they don't turn aggressive.

I love dogs and animals but yes pitbulls should be banned. Those dogs were bred to fight and if they hold onto to someone, they will not let go. Seen too many videos of them mauling other dogs, cats, humans even trying to maul horses and donkeys. You never know when instinct will take and they just snap.

Not only india, kahi countries hai jaha bohot se breeds ban hai aur even kuch time pehle UK ki govt ne bhi American bully dog Breed ko ban karne ka socha tha. Kuch rules aur regulations india me bhi hone chahiye regarding ownership of specific breeds, with some conditions unko rakhne ka permission sirf unko milna chahiye jo manage, train, proper care and maintain kar sakta hai varna agar har koi ye breeds rakhenge toh vo din dur nhi ki har jagah in specific breeds k bite k cases rise karne lag jaye, logo me un breeds k prati hate start hojaye aur govt ko logo k pressure se un breeds ko ban karna pad jaye. Isliye ek responsible owner k pass hona he jaruri hai.
