@brandyn420420 That circle is just to make sure the slide is installed properly. To "properly" sync the carbs you need a tool that measures the air flow into each carb. You can also "eyeball" the syncing by just setting both slides to the same height.

Thanks for your vids. I got mine running smooth. Clogged pilot jet. You can still see through it but the unclogged ine had a bigger hole. I moved up to a 27.5 anyways.

I wouldn't recommend riding anymore until you know what jets are in the quad for sure. It might be running lean and that'll be expensive to fix. Ill shoot a vid on changing the needle position today if I can get the time. Ill definitely do one soon though.

found your video on the blaster forum and my carb was leaking gas, was gunna do a rebuild, but i watched this vid quick went thru cleaned my carb and adjusted my floats, my quad runs like a top without leaking any gas, just wanted to say thanks cuz i was getting irritated by looking at my quad just sit there

what i found easiest is to take an impact screwdriver and using that with light taps to take out the carb bowl screws

the idle air screw works the same on both 2 or 4 strokes, it just controls air at idle, after you open the throttle it doesn't do any thing

I have a problem with getting both cylinders to run evenly. I cleaned the carbs and jets and also made sure that. Engine runs great after half throttle but at idle right pipe does not get hot and left also hits harder.

@brandyn420420 If you have a little carb cleaner in the float bowls it wont be a big deal to fire it up as long as there is gas in there with it. 340s sound right and 290's sound a little lean. Try shooting somewhere inbetween and do plug chops. Ill have a video of that this summer.

your best bet is to post ALL your mods, your riding temp, and elevation over on banshee hq. Id love to help but im not familiar with a 2-1 jetting setup. Only familiar with stock carbs

@jlsparky7 thanks man.. and it has run with 290s for atleast a year or so the previous owner told me.. the plugs got pretty black and just signs of it being rich.. but I guess 300s wouldnt hurt? I also cant seem to find the little circle in the glass window for syncing the carbs

I set both of needle clips at third notch when I went and put new 280 jets in the side with the choke the needle sticks out of the jet and the other side does not please help I did put a new throttle cable on am I doing something wrong the needles are the same length ?

@gringo0760 DO NOT use wd40 on anything with orings. It will make them swell and not fit. Use white lithium grease and it'll work great. :)

Okay I was missing the brass washer that is under the jet I have also installed a boost bottle got it all back together on the third kick it sounded like it was going to run and now I can't get it to start I followed your steps to remove tores all together I do have spark I changed plugs still won't fire checked its getting gas even gave it a shot of starting fluid still wouldn't fire I emptied all gas before trying to start so it's got fresh gas 93 octane 40to1 I'm stumped? So I just bought a needle valve set because a guy said that was why my engine was leaking and not runing properly (it would start up fine and run for two or three minutes and then bog out and i could get it started... until the next day I dont know why that is but I asked someone and he said thats why....) would I bend my metal piece down the adjust the floaters?

How can you tell if the needles are bad I recently had motor bored .30 over wiseco pistons fmf power core 2 pipes and fmf slip on also 2 into one air cleaner with no lid when I put all back to together it ran but would bog more than 1/4 throttle I don't know what size jets I have I'm new to this but would like a good starting point on what I should have in there I brought it to a shop by me and was told I needed new needles and choke plunger and throttle cable they wanted 350 to do it we needl

I'm not sure how to pm either well I had bored .30 over wiseco pistons,boost bottle,280 mains 27.5 pilots, I put clip for needle at 3rd from bottom 40to1 gas tores eliminate new throttle cable I have spark I gave it a shot of starting fluid no difference changed plugs put couple drops of gas in where plugs go and nothing when I put boost bottle on my gas line is going over it and before it wasn't going up over it I'm going to take bottle off and change plugs and try that other than that I'm stu

For the float bowl bolts order some JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) screw drivers. They are a true cross point and using a Phillips will strip em.

hey man, i just bought a banshee like last thurday. it runs like a beast, alothough previous owner said the left carb need to be cleaned...so that side smokes a lil bit, and it also feels its blowing exhuast harder..it starts first kick everytime btw so no hard starts.. i just want to hear your input.

Watch my jetting video too. Sounds like your jetting may be off. Definitely sounds like your idle air control screw needs adjustment. thatll make a huge difference

Im not extremely familiar with that model. Your best bet is probably to buy a manual and look it up. Maybe it is an auto-choke feature? or auto shutoff?

I recently got a banshee used off someone and it has ran amazing for about 3 months.. it has a big bore and DG pipes.. and I just ordered a K&N lid and it came with 340 mains.. it had 290 in it and when I put the 340s in it ran like shit so I put the old ones in.. I left some carb cleaner fluid in it tho when i fired it up.. is that bad? it was revving really high and i dont want to run it anymore till i figure it out? can you help

That screw controls how high the slide sits inside the carb (controls your idle RPM) The problem is with the TORS they are completely inaccurate.

No there are not jet kits on those carbs. Jet kits are kind of a waste of money because they come with VERY odd sizes. You're far better off ordering the individual jets that you think you will need.
