Sweet quads! I have a warrior 350 totally redone except plastics and re powder coating the frame, 2023 ktm 250 2 smoker, two totally rebuilt, and I mean everything, everything runs at its peak, 2000 600 mxz and 2001 mxz 800 and my 800 sled pulls like a rocket, everything else is fun but nothing compares to how hard sleds pull, love it! On the stock carbs sometimes the brass insert that guides the slides as they go up and down works themselves out so on each carb I check them and if they are loose take em out and use red lock-tite and tap tap tap them back in fully until they stop 💯🏁⚙️💨👍

I use to have a 350 warrior loved it not as fast as the banshee but still fun bike .
@joetech4054 Жыл бұрын
Me too! I had an 87 that I rode for twenty years. Thing was bulletproof and pretty fast for a 4 stroke. Loved that it had a 6 speed and reverse. I put a twist grip on mine because I rode dirt bikes and hated the thumb throttle! My buddy had a banshee and the thing was faster but he always had trouble keeping the carbs synchronized.
@cj7fun579 Жыл бұрын
Awesome! I love the sound of the banshee, it really kicks! I rode a KTM 250 CC that a friend of mine had for his son, and it was great, can't imagine riding a 300. Great video, I really enjoy your Canadian Red Neck hospitality with a cold beer! 👍

Why did you not replace the clutch hub nut as well? I usually just put the transmission in 6th gear, use a ratchet, and hold the rear brake, before trying to hold the inner hub with anything like pliers. Something to note, there should be a ball bearing that goes between the adjustment screw and the clutch pushrod, nice to make sure it is present and in good condition.

Quick one for you, just rebuild my 2002 polaris classic 600 from the cranck up, engine start no issue, but after running it for about 30 minutes total ( cycle hot and cold) my compression reed 95 on both istead of 137, should i wait a couples of gas tank ,let rings sits proporly and recheck?
@rednecksdirtyhands Жыл бұрын
good day! yeah that does seem low...but if she's all new from top to bottom and there were no issues with the cylinders and the ring gaps are good then yeah it may come around after a bit of runtime to seat the rings....maybe add a bit of oil to the fuel to help during the break in time just to be safe 🍻

thank you! yeah it sucks that yamaha is getting out of the sled market that's for sure! but the writing was kind of on the wall for a bit...they were only making 4 strokes and even ended their own chassis for the apex and all in 2018 and just supplied motors to cat for the viper and sidewinder so they were pulling back already. I would have loved to see yamaha come out with something completely new!!! like a turbo 2stroke SRX to absolutely kill the polaris Boost and belive me Yamaha has the ability to do it!! but unfortunately it doesn't look like that's gunna happen....well unless I build one! 😉🤪🤣🍻
