There are kits that make ATV's street legal but the cities still won't allow it, why? Not everyone lives next to woods so why not let people enjoy a ride on a quad if they are street legal!

@@YnrTy18040 Most kits come with a horn and turn signals because most ATV's today already have headlights and a brake light. If you search "atv street legal kit" you'll see what I'm talking about. I looked into this about ten years ago and found out my county won't allow this even with the conversion. Really depends on where you live I guess.

The whole we live in the city not out in the country excuse is garbage. Very few of us that own dirtbikes and 4 wheelers actually own the land we ride on. We behave like responsible adults and transport our machines in a truck or trailer to where it's legal to ride. It's not just that you're riding on the streets, you're committing several traffic infractions at the same time. Passing on double yellow line, blowing stop signs and red lights, speeding, etc..... You're creating unsafe conditions that could result in an innocent getting hurt. As a life long offroad enthusiast I'm respectfully asking that people stop riding like this. You're giving the responsible, respectful, and law abiding riders a bad name. The offroad community is an extremely welcoming one, load up your bikes and come out riding with us.
