Quinton. Son of Beast was shut down. You want to know why? It was a wooden coaster with a loop. Doesn't sound bad, does it? Think about the pain. Tons of people died or broke their necks on that ride. Either you were just oblivious to these facts, or you were wishing them to die. Either way, not a good sign for you buddy. Son of beast shut down in 2009. Are you saying they should go back in time and risk their lives to ride it? You, sir, are a genius. If you manage to invent the time machine, I will actually go back to the past and risk my life to ride it. Your move, buddy.

Went to Kings Island last summer and I was too scared to get on the Banshee. Loops scared the crap out of me so no matter what my brothers insisted, I refused to get on it. I went back to Kings Island about a week ago with friends. I was debating going on the banshee the entire day. My friend somehow got me on the Vortex, which I ended up liking, and when I saw the banshee afterwards it didn't look any worse. So I got on it, and loved it! So happy I decided to get on the Banshee, seriously even if you have a fear of loops, get on it bc it got rid of my fear (along with the vortex) Wish I could have rode it again, but it was time to leave :(

Just going to say it again because it's still bugging me (I've tried to get used to it): the 'personal touch' really doesn't work for these kinds of videos in my opinion, unless it's a group or well-known person like on TPR. You might not agree, but that's what I think. Anyway, I do love this ride. I wish every coaster had the same restraints too.

Kings island was my first job as a rides operator. I will never forget son of beast but banshee was a nice replacement. I even love the tombstone that says son of beast. Great ride but diamondback is the best ride there

This rides amazing road 3 times last time I went to kings island few years back. Even if your uneasy bout loops I still recommend I never once road a coaster with any, but I could ride this constantly. just don't ride it back to back for 2 days straight I felt look I was on a boat and whatever room I was in was spinning lol. Love the facts and info in the description never new bout the marketing stuff before. Kinda of makes me think that they used some of the paranormal stuff that has been recorded/documented at the park before for it.

I wanna ride it but I’ve been scared of coasters my whole life and I’m now starting to get into them I rode everything in the park now except for most a lot of the ground rides, banshee, and Diamondback.. I think I’m scared of banshee cuz of the inversions.. what does it feel like?? Are u in ur chair or are u just floating.. and then the only reason I’m scared of Diamondback is because it’s tall but otherwise I would ride it

This ride seems to be the result of taking the Volcano at Kings Dominion and adding it's overhead track to the Dominator at Kings Dominion. Still, this seems like an awesome ride!! 🎢

Neil and Stanley Holyoak Last year, I went on this ride. It was my very first upside down ride to by the way, lol. At first, I was so so so scared, but at the end of the ride, I had the biggest smile on my face. It’s intense at first. The only thing that scared me was the drop. Going upside was so awesome, it doesn’t even feel like you’re going upside down actually. Trust me, you’re strapped in really tightly on that ride. It hurt my hip😂 I wanted to go on it again so bad, but the line was too long lol. Next time I’m going to Kings Island, that’s the first ride I’m going on. It’s so much fun! Trust me, you’ll love it. The hill drop is the only thing that takes your stomach honestly. I would highly recommend riding it! 😁

Raptor and Banshee, I'm guessing. Yeah, I've only been on Banshee, Raptor, and Great Bear. They were all really good rides. My least favorite was Great Bear, then Raptor, then Banshee. Banshee is in my top 10 coasters that I've ridden.

+Caleb Campbell I like Banshee better, but Raptor still kicks ass. Banshee is more comparable to Alpengeist though (Busch Gardens Williamsburg). It's a much longer coaster with larger inversions. Raptor is more like the other Busch Gardens' Montu. It's smaller and sticks closer to the ground.
