This is not a how 2. I don’t know shit about Lectrons. Only the little that I’ve found on their website. Enjoy!

Great video, answered a lot of questions. Left carb on my banshee was leaking bad (lectrons 30). Going to go over them using this video to see if I’ll be good to go.

Nice looking bike! I have that same sync meter. I have a 90 degree adapter with mine as well so that’s always an option. I ended up drilling and tapping vacuum ports into my intakes on my twin carb bike and using a home made manometer to balance as it was much easier to do it that way.

My metering rod length "starting point" on the sticker that comes with each carb says 2094 then I believe the other wasn't exactly the same. It was around 208something

@@linksgarage1985 I meant to ask, what reeds are in the bike? Trying to determine where the hit will be. Those pipes should be mid to upper end power. Those carbs will definitely flow up top. Reeds are last determining factor. You definitely want a peak power reed setup. Banshee’s don’t really need bottom end, especially on a light sumo setup

@@nate4036 and dude.. you know wayy more about this shit than me. I’ve never had a banshee. Lots of 2 strokes. But they were all singles.

@@linksgarage1985 I raced mx for years, when buddies started riding atvs I had to have a 2str. Well within a few months, I had an extra set of lightest wheels I could buy with flat track sticky tires and a wheelie bar. We started street racing on the side. Put it only compounded into built motors with ported jugs, and swapping carbs/reeds til it was perfected. There was a lot of trial and error. But it won and paid for its own mods🤷🏻♂️😂 But the reason I loved it. Could toss some dirt tires on it and hit some hill climbs. Banshee motors are simply amazing. Finicky at times but will do what you ask from it.
