@travelingfrogman I’m not sure if I went to this one, Banteay Kdei. The name does not sound familiar, but I’ve been to Banteay Srey. Now Banteay Srey is my favorite carvings in the structure. I think because of the stones they used the carvings still hold its value. Although, I remembered I didn’t have a lot of time, so I was trying to see every on if the structure all in two days. Also some of the structures back in 2006 some were not allow to fully explore because it wasn’t restored and safe to go in. That’s was so much to see all cramped in two days. You are probably the only one who is filming this structure that’s why it is not familiar.

The visit to Banteay Kdei is a beautiful temple, I got lucky on this visit because no other tourist except the security officer. I explored 14 temples some are more popular than others. I truly enjoyed the history of each and more videos on each temple vist

@@travelingfrogman That’s pretty amazing that you got to see 14 temples! I envy you! 😂 I wished I had seen that much when I went. I didn’t have a lot of time, but I definitely want to see more next time I go… I wished I had took advantage of my late uncle who’s was very very knowledgeable about the temples and Cambodia history. I mean text books and he spoke French and English, too. I was so honored he was my tour guide. Now he passed earlier this year.

Yes, visiting the temples is a very nice experience. Each one has its own story, it's good you had your uncle (RIP🙏) locals are the best knowledge on the temple history. Actually had to extend my pass into Angkor extra day, but we'll worth it.

@@travelingfrogman So how many days did it take you to do 14 temples? That’s a lot of overwhelming info to do in a few days. Wow! 🤩

@meganseang3745 About 5 days, there are many right in Angkor area that a close to each other. I have a very good Tuk Tuk driver that nows area very well. Some further temples took more time for travel. But very well worth the effort to see these beautiful historical temples
