So excited to see this, never imagine I'd see a Boris Gelfand banter blitz. So awesome.

" oh what is this ? " I love this guy, such Humility. Sympathizing with his opponents blunder, instead of putting him down... Now thats a lesson we can all learn.💜

A great player and a real gentleman. When one of his opponents here won on time in a completely lost position, Gelfand accepted it with good cheer. I'm reminded of his championship match with Anand. As I recall, after a game that Gelfand lost, during the post-game press conference a reporter asked him if he might have lost because he didn't get enough sleep the night before. Gelfand said something like, "No! I got eight great hours of sleep last night."

The only thing left for me to see before I die is banter blitz with Karpov and Kasparov.

This is the best banter blitz I've seen, with the most instructive "banter". Thank you, Mr. Gelfand!

"Magnus is Kasparov wanna be" and "Chucky is the best " 😂 When Boris said "Chucky is great. No doubt. " I laughed xD

Thank you M. Gelfand for this outstanding chess session. Just wondering if there wasn't a tactical shot at 45:30 with Nf3 winning material: a) Nf3+ Bxf3 Bxf3 Rg1 Bxc3+ wins a piece and the exchange because the Knight on e2 is still pinned. b) Nf3+ Kf1 Bxc3 Nxc3 Kh2+ wins the Queen c) Nf3+ Kf1 Bxc3 hxg4 Bxa1 wins an exchange (but white gets compension with an attack on the black kingside though)

Boris is awesome. Clearly some of the patzers who played against him were using engines.

For example that guy at 30:00... Sad old man, with a sad nickname, cheating at a game with the chess legend that Gelfand is.

Thrill to watch, highly instructive genius move against the London system 25:49 rerouting the bishop to H6 square removing it from whites dark square pawn chain, then coordinating against against the white f4 bishop with the f6 knight chasing it away via d5 then routing the knight to f4 threating whites good bishop on d3 forcing the exchange of dark square bishop for knight, winning the bishop pair. Never would of considered this ever simple, effective, brilliant.

45:40. Never in my next three re-incarnations I would take Bxe2. Boris is a positional monster.

Nice show, Boris is a great player, he shows respect to his opponents and is humble, he also explains all his moves in a very clear and very instructive manner. Unlike many gms who are just here to try humiliate others, make acerb remarks and satisfy their little ego
