Goin on the topic of Alaska and Hawaii, the distance between two of their closest points is 2,173 miles (3,497 km). Thats from the northernmost spot of Hawaii's island of Kauai and southernmost spot of Alaska's Samalga island in the Aleutian chain How yuzu sucks this much at geography is beyond me

Fun fact: Mercury, the planet closest to the sun, is also the most likely to be the closest to all the other planets in the solar system at any given time! For example, if Saturn is on the other side of the sun from Jupiter, it's going to be that way for quite some time. Mercury, by virtue of its proximity to the sun, doesn't have such wide gaps and thus will remain closer to both Jupiter _and_ Saturn all the while.
