Found if you long press the a/b it will toggle between dual watch, single watch and this memory mode, name and frequency of the named memory. Will scan in this mode also. Love this radio.

I bought 2 for my husband and I. We were told it connect up to 5 miles. I’ve been trying to set up so that the two of us can communicate and it’s been very confusing. I followed these instructions to the T. I hope it works

I have a few of these new K6 radios & I can NOT get them to scan memory channels, they will only scan in VFO mode which is about worthless to me because I bought a tiny Spectrum Analyzer for that & its perfect for that.

I’m trying to set it for the railroad, but it’s really confusing but I found that if you hit *, it says “SCANQT” I don’t know if this means it’s scanning or not but I’m in frequency mode when I do this

If the channel you are trying to save into already has data stored, you have to go to menu 14 and delete it first.

Appreciate the video please share more on the K6, Ive found the unlock menu and password. Also trying to get Chirp to work. Another youtuber says theres a BF-K6 to use but not showing that model on chirp currently.

Thanks for this. I am really confused trying to get this thing to work. Can you guide me a bit on how to find repeaters? Do I just search for them? I live down in a holler and line of sight is pretty bad.

It says this is a GMRS on Amazon but the boefang website doesn’t say it’s GMRS

I have one on order and just assumed it was dirty. I am just going to use it for a cheap scanner while outside and mainly listening to FM radio
