This set of 1/4" acrylic templates will allow you to create accurate all-over baptist fan designs and border/block fan designs as well as curved crosshatching.

10 out of 5!!! I can not recommed these rulers higher! I tried a 1 piece Baptist Fan ruler & had zero sucess. Easy to read & accurate markings, videos are extremely helpful & the rulers are well sized to fit nicely on my 15R midarm. Thank you, Michael!

Michael, I love your videos. I am always thrilled when I get a notification that you have done a new one. You do such an excellent job of educating no matter the subject. I love your design in these rulers. I am very new to longarming. You inspire me to do more than I am doing. I have added these rulers to my wish list very high at the top. On a limited budget or would have bought today. I wish more people were aware of your talents and expertise. I am sure they would be as impressed as I am with your abilities.

Thank you so much for your nice comment - I appreciate it so much. I am trying to make more videos and do more projects as time allows, so that I can reach more people. But getting the word out takes time. Just like it takes time to get better at quilting! I love teaching and learning and am always making mistakes that I learn from. I understand about the budget - wish things weren't as expensive as they are to make. Am I right in thinking that you took a ruler class from me in Houston over the Summer? Thanks again - Michael.

@@michael.quilts First off, your price is fine. So, please don't be concerned about that. It is just my budget is not. After retirement, one has to be conservative. I wish I had been the one who attended your class in Houston. I am sure it was fabulous. I found you by searching how to do cross-hatch. I watched a lot of videos and yours were the best. And I love the way you admit your errors and tell how you correct them. For a learner, this is priceless information. You make me feel like I can do this. And your slow and easy presentation is perfect for the new longarmer. I actually relax when I watch your videos. Most of them key me up and make me nervous. I know few people who have longarms. But, I pass the word of your talents where I can. Stay the course! You will be discovered some day. I in the meantime will anxiously await your new videos and products. And of course, turn to all of them when I need them. THANKS SO MUCH for WHAT YOU DO!!!!

I recently purchased the 5 fan set. As per your video, I'm asking for help for the template one of the videos showed. Also you said the you preferred to start on the bottom of the quilt, but the instruction sheet shows starting from the top. I did figure it out, but wondered if there is a more recent instruction sheet.

Hi Barbara! Thanks for purchasing the set. You're right - I will work on printed instructions with the bottom to top method. I have several videos on it, but not in printed form. If you have not watched the videos of me doing it bottom to top, they are very helpful. This last video with the giraffe goes over it pretty extensively. There is also a video of me doing them top to bottom. Also - were you asking for the marking template I show in the giraffe video? if so - send me an email and I will get it to you electronically! hello, can I use this templates on a Bernina 770 with the ruler foot 72?

Hi Roxanne. Yes you can use this set on a Bernina 770 with Ruler Foot attached, feed dogs dropped, and single hole stitch plate recommended. You may want to get something grippy to put on the back of the larger templates to help avoid slippage. But sure - these will work like any other ruler/template designed for ruler work on your Bernina - they are 1/4" thick. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thank You! Michael

Yes, they can! You will want some grip tape or dots on the underside to avoid slippage, as with any template. I also promise to shoot a video on domestic machine - my to-do list is growing and trying to get more content out. But yes - I have lots of customers on domestic machines and have seen some of their finished work - beautiful! Thank You! Michael
