This campground was sold this past winter. (2023) They have new reservation policies & prices have increased. We stayed here June 2024. Our sites were fairly level with full hook ups. We rode our eBikes on the Carridges Trails, what fun! We plan staying next year.

There are buses that go through all the campgrounds and take you to the towngreen and there you can can take free buses from there to other areas of Acadia

I just booked this campground for the end of the month online. I was able to pick my site as well. So I guess something they have added.

Yes they don’t explain about cash only, and no reservations so you have to get there early to find a spot, but is always nice and clean and reasonably priced. We use to camp there all the time I believe there was only one time we couldn’t get a spot and ended up at Narrows campground which are very nice too! The buses take you everywhere jut about in Arcadia.

Those campers seem to look like the same campers that were there 14 years ago, the one with the great views up on the hill
