He has made a marvellous fight in this world, in all the ages; and has done it with his hands tied behind him. He could be vain of himself, and be excused for it. The Egyptian, the Babylonian, and the Persian rose, filled the planet with sound and splendor, then faded to dream-stuff and passed away; the Greek and the Roman followed, and made a vast noise, and they are gone; other peoples have sprung up and held their torch high for a time, but it burned out, and they sit in twilight now, or have vanished. The Jew saw them all, beat them all, and is now what he always was, exhibiting no decadence, no infirmities of age, no weakening of his parts, no slowing of his energies, no dulling of his alert and aggressive mind. All things are mortal but the Jew; all other forces pass, but he remains. What is the secret of his immortality? Mark Twain - Concerning the Jews 1899

It was a fulfilment of the scripture 👇 Matthew 23:34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: 23:35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar. 23:36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation. 23:37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! 23:38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.

Obviously I need to tell you guys about the prophecy that's still running from the 1st century AD. What Bar Kokhba didn't know at the time. The day of Jezreel prophecy in Hosea predicted that Israel and Judah was to face a long term top level Leviticus 26 curse. Followed by the "day of Jezreel". But the thing is Hosea 6 verses 1,2 and 3 give us the time line of the prophecy. 3 days in the presence of the Lord. BUT. Big but here. Per Psalms 90 and 2nd Peter 3-8 from the Christian Bible those days are 1000 year periods of time. Per the prophecy Israel was to face a TWO THOUSAND year curse. Followed by the thousand year day of Jezreel. So, it appears Israel has been serving it's curse all the way back from the first century AD. And it appears the curse runs out in the 2030s AD and the day of Jezreel starts then. So the what this means is the day of Jezreel prophecy and the 70 weeks of Daniel are co-prophecies. The 70 weeks never ran out. One week remains because the day of Jezreel prophecy took over. The 70th week starts when the restoration of the Temple starts. 😁 👋

As a historian and neo-Roman I can say this, the Jews really had it coming, ROME can only be so civilized until people push the "we dumb barbarian" button, Now the damage that Hadrian did stood the test of time with the Jews till 1946, he annihilated Judea for 1000 + years, that is very impressive, not even Genis Khan could achieve that, but Mao did,

I wonder how happy Israeli Jews now, do they agree that their brethren were rightfully put into massacre because they started it and blended in civilians. They destroyed almost all Gaza, and their ministers and Rabbis are in fact calling for total genocide, it's just they are afraid of the image of Israel in the international politics.

3:52 and to the Christians living in Israel at the time, this was a massive red flag. Why would we follow a false messianic claimant when the True Messiah already revealed himself?
@NATEHIGGERS975 ай бұрын
Yes, that was the reason they didn't join the rebellion. Until the revolt, Christianity was considered a Jewish sect and even observed the same customs but when bar kokba and his fanatics decided that he was the Messiah they asked the christians to join them in fighting the Romans which the Christians refused not just because bar kokba touted himself as a Messiah but because of his violent ways to resolve the conflict. The entire story regarding aelia capitolonia is that Hadrian was building all across the empire and he met the Jews and the Jews requested him to rebuild Jerusalem which he agreed however someone told the Jews that Hadrian was building a pagan temple to Jupiter and that he was persuaded by a Jew hater to do so which is only said so Jewish sources. The truth is Hadrian was building Jerusalem and there are no sources that say that Hadrian wanted to build a pagan temple only the talmudic sources. Either way when the Christians refused to partake in the violence they were genocided by the Jews which is what caused the later divide. Btw only Jewish sources say that Hadrian was building a pagan temple because a Jew hater told him so but in reality all other sources say otherwise and he build the temple only after the Jews revolted.
@bretonneux33895 ай бұрын
@@NATEHIGGERS97 well, the time to decide which god will be worshipped in the temple is only once the temple is builded, isn't it ? Hadrian, from what we know about him, doesn't really strikes as a very religious man. It's possible he may have hesitations about which god to dedicate the temple, as he may have not really care himself, it was probably a political game to him, and he waited to know which option would be the best for him/
