I watched his TV show for a while. It was more of the same. He's clearly inspired by scripture and biblical history, but he doesn't seem to know enough about logic to know how to support his conclusions. Don't get me wrong: I've watched this at least five times. They're interesting ideas that might be true, which inspires me.

It's just that they have other things to do than make documentaries trying to prove something and they know that all of this is simply a story with evidence (which can always be interpreted many ways). Regarding the last question: if Moses did follow that route and told the farao what would happen if they weren’t allowed to leave, then somebody who knew about the upcoming eruption on Santorini must have told him. Absolutely the most thought provoking video I have seen in years. I had already wondered if a tsunami could have been the reason the sea parted then returned. But all the theories advanced seem very well documented, except nothing much was said about why the slaves did not die and were 'passed over'... that question could be explained by rooftop gathering, either awake and watching for the night or sleeping, possibly? I love this documentary, but respectfully disagree on the location of the parting of the seas. There are coral-encrusted remnants of many many Egyptian chariots in pieces all over the place, at the location he dismisses as having found no evidence. Totally untrue. There exists there, at that crossing, which matches the biblical description of the steep canyon walls they were trapped in for many miles on their way to the sea, where they were then trapped, strangely there is a land bridge across the Red Sea from precisely that point and no other. It is smooth, would have been traversable on foot, and the Bible actually says more than just that the waters were parted. It states that God raised the land and made a bridge, and then parted the water. Divers there have found countless pieces of Egyptian chariots scattered all the way across that bridge. They are from the correct time period. It's clear that is where they crossed.
