I have one in 30-06, the finest firearm I have ever owned, beautifully balanced. Killed 2 deer the first week I owned it and watched both as they fell through the scope. have owned 6 previous 30-06 rifles and all had four to six inches of muzzle rise so watching game fall was an impossibility. has less recoil tha a remington 270 and push is straight back

Just bought one brand new first time shooting it will not group to satisfy. Used 3 different factory ammo. 308 caliber. Same day used different scopes that were installed correctly. Very disappointed buying such a Beautiful rifle that shoots so poorly. Have no confidence in this firearm. Sent back to Browning the next day. The shop I purchased it from got right on it with Browning. Hope it's correctEd. Really believe a new rifle should be sent. I'm the one paying for it.

Start selling the bar in 9.3x62 Mauser in the USA please.! The Bar is sold in Europe in 9.3x62 Mauser so what is the problem for US market as the 9.3x62 is gaining acceptance with American shooters. I tried all ways I could think of to get a Bar in 9.3x62 Mauser so it just wasn't going to happen, so I built an AR 10 in 375-300 WSM for my Alaskan dangerous game rifle.

I wanted the Bar in the 9.3x62 Mauser that is sold in Europe but every why I could think of getting one wasn't possible. Even asking Cabala's to order me one wasn't possible. I finally gave up on the Bar in 9.3x62 Mauser then made an AR 10 in 375-300 WSM for my new Alaskan dangerous game rifle. I have the AR 10 in 375-300WSM all working perfectly now cycling cartridges and accuracy is spot on.

Used. All manufacturers use the matte black now. I have contacted leupold and asked for them to bring the gloss scope back

@@liddell157 Good call, they need to bring back the gloss black scope. Matte black will not work on firearms like this.

I don’t know I kinda like the matte black. In the end it’s just personal preference. Either one will look great on this rifle.

Every rifle is different and buying a new rifle it takes shooting different loadings to find what the rifle likes. For 308 150 grains to 165 grain is pretty good loads for deer - black bear - Antilope

I build and sell custom AR 10 uppers in all the WSM magnums, and I do make an AR 10 upper in 6.8 Western. Personally, after shooting the 6.8 Western and seeing it is just a 270 win I can't see this cartridge staying around long when so many hunters like the old 270 win and reloaders can made 270 win from 25-06 - 280 Rem - 30-06. Buying the 6.8 Wetsern can screw yourself when ammo and brass become scarce. If more power is wanted from a 270-bullet size which is 27 caliber, then go with the 270 Wby mag or drop down one caliber then go with the old 264 win mag or the 6.5-284 Norma..
