Excellent insight review. Bar is absolutely an amazing place to visit. Car rentals run about €40-50 including insurance. Ask locals next time you visit

Well, it would have been nice to know last month when the Princess Sun pulled in for the very first time. Bar was completely unprepared for a cruise ship and so was Princess. We saw nothing of all these beautiful sites you mentioned. We were dropped off at what was most probably the lower income area. It was dirty, sadly, a lot of stray dogs. There was a beautiful fountain that had stagnant water and filled with rubbish. Sun Princess obviously had no idea of these beautiful churches and old town.

Good to hear that it's unprepared for a cruise ship and long may it last. Those monstrosities are the blight of small locations

how close to cruise port? Can I walk?
@traveltomoney5 ай бұрын
You can easily walk the marina area from the port as well as see the church I mentioned. The old town would probably be an hour and fifteen minute walk from there, so a cab may be easier. I walked there, but the place I was staying was right in-between the old town and the main city, so it was only a 40-minute walk for me.

Hi! can you pay by card around the city?
@traveltomoney4 ай бұрын
Hi there! Yes, credit cards are widely accepted in Montenegro. The currency is the euro. Just be sure to use a card that doesn't charge foreign transaction fees if possible. It would be good to have a small amount of cash available, but for the most part, you won't need it. 🙂

It’s respectful to businesses to bring cash. Not everyone wants to make constant donations to billionaire banks. In the Balkans and Eastern Europe people prefer cash.
