I really respect your parenting. I like how laid out it is, they were asked to complete jobs/chores, job/chore time is not replaceable with playtime and consequences follow for things being incomplete so they understand the jobs/chores were important to be completed and they were trusted to do it. It’s especially important on farms/ranches as that’s the families livelihood and if it’s a job with livestock, those animals rely on people. Love watching you two work together. Wouldn’t it be nice if our vehicles were made with that much care now? Really enjoy your wrenching and ranching time. ❤❤

I remember once when i just turned 16 had my license and got my first car, a 1963 Ford Galaxy 289 V8 3 speed on the column. My Dad had a list of stuff to do and i didn't get it done for some reason but i remember what my punishment was. He came home and he yell out my name i knew i was in trouble. Make a long story short i was grounded for a week and he took my car keys for a week. Had to walk to school and home after football practice. I learned to get my work done after that.

I noticed a big change in my kids attitudes for the worse when we started allowing video games and playing on the tablet and now we are only using them as rewards after all the chores are done and the behavior has been good. My wife and i did not like how they were acting when they were allowed to police themselves with the games. Wont make that mistake again. Really enjoy yalls channel and tiktok. Keep ranchin. Teenagers just need a guideline , once Clancy understands the priorities are first then the fun .. just typical playbook of teenagers is my opinion ... I raised three by myself and hardest part was helping them prioritize needs vs wants .. Clancy Will be ok ...but all parents have to help get priorities first ...

Had a friend of mine killed a few years ago when his jack failed , you should ALWAYS use cinder blocks along with your jack as an added safety measure .

I am very sorry to hear about your friend. But using cinder blocks is a death trap waiting to happen itself. They are NOT safe. If you want to put anything under your vehicle to aid the jack...at worst, use wood blocks...at best, use good solid ramps, or good quality jack stands. (Bar 7, I understand that your vehicle was not jacked up.)
