The artist made a BLAND, COLD creation of POTUS, which does look like a cheap photo shop for a business ad. Seemingly, no feelings went into his work. Just dull. Obama deserves a better artistic portrayal. I’d have @least requested the artist to take the fkn SHADOW OFF my face & add color. 👩🏽‍🎨

Wonderful, indeed~and finally! OK~ready for critique: IF I were the Artiste, I would NOT have cast shadow on the 44th President’s FACE, making this look like a black & white photo for a business ad. The Obamas are too gracious, to a fault for approving this concept. Wish the Mother-in-Law had been consulted for her approval FIRST.😊 A POTUS’ half-shadowed face is highly inappropriate on the Artist’s part. Thus is a portrait for history. Nor would I have painted him in the cold, BLAND white background. President Obama deserves 2B portrayed in FULL color, as was done for his beautiful wife, Michelle & all other portraits of POTUS’ & their spouses~gracing the White House walls. Yes, I said it! 👩🏽‍🎨

Lol that cant be a legitimate question. Trump was a big proponent of the racist birtherism garbage and never apologized or admitted he was wrong, even after Obama's birth certificate was released. It's a huge lack of respect and it fanned a lot of awful racist attacks towards Obama and his family. Set aside vastly different ideals and politics, it's obvious why he'd hold no love for Trump, though he was very polite and congratulatory when welcoming him to the White House.
