The Big Boy Shotguns! Double LB 20-X Jagermech "Duelist" - Mechwarrior Online The Daily Dose 1500

This gameplay tutorial for Mechwarrior Online shows you how to utilize your Mech to it's best extent. I'll give you a rundown of the build and what it is made for and show you the actual combat role in two games on the battlefield.
Mechwarrior Online is a competitive first person shooter where you build and pilot massive Mechs and prove yourself on the battlefield. The game is based on the Battletech franchise, which originally was a science fiction tabletop game in the 80s. Big part of the game is configuring your loadout and find the best match of missile, ballistic and energy weapons for your playstyle. The weapon variety ranges from devastating autocannons over particle projectors to deadly arrays of laser beams. On the battlefield your team of 12 Mechwarriors fight the enemies on rather small arena-type maps. Teamwork is crucial here because a single Mech does not survive long if it steps in front a full firing line. Communication and teamwork is key on your journey to glory and victory.

I am using Haven Kendrick's Soundpack! Download it here: / haven_kendrick . To install, simply locate your Mechwarrior Online installation folder, open "Game" and you will see lots of .pak files. Drop the sound mod file into that folder with the other .pak files, restart the client, and you are good to go!

Every time I see a Jaegermech or Blackjack it brings me back to early times of the game... And this one absolutely amazing battle. So this was the one time where Blackjack was a tryout mech, and queue was pretty filled with them. I was just starting and of course I went in one. We had 3 blackjacks and 1 Jaegermech - the Jaeger called in all blackjacks to follow him and well... we did. We were on an arctic map, I don't remember the name, but this was one of this 1 in a 1000000 games, where we all acted as a unit. We put out blackjacks in a line just behind the hill. Jaeger poked, noticed enemy group and told us to poke and unleash on the target furthest to the left. And we did. We massacred 4 assault mechs that way and after that we moved straight to enemy cap. Wonderful times. I miss these types of games.

Always wondered what the people trashing their team expect that to do. Yes, it's frustrating if people aren't paying attention, but shit happens, people get in a bad spot and run over.

I think my biggest pet peeve is that if they have an ECM and they are in a low signal area trying to hunt down that mech and not turning on counter.

I love it. Baradul- This mech does not have arm actuators so we can fit the LBX20 or Heavy Gauss on it. Also Baradul- Why does my arm lock toggle not work?

I've seen so many people get stuck on Bearclaw II. I had a match were 3 of my teammates got stuck in 3 different holes. I really hope they patch the map!

19:20 baradul. you dont have upperarm actuators...that mech dosnt HAVE the ability to unlock arms. upper arm is for up and down aiming. lower for left and right...your arms guns are effectivly hard bolted onto your torso XP

@@VanBurenPhilips Yup! No other mech in the game has that. Much like the two energy slots in the Warlord's head. They're starting to break some of their rules to spice things up.

this type of build brings me back to my days in MW4 brawling up close and personal with 2 LBX20s and a few medium lasers for back ups in multiplayer nice to see that the build still holds true in MWO

I have a 2xLB20X Warhammer build that I really enjoy playing. Only room for a couple ER Small lasers, but that means heat s never really a problem. Very effective close- to mid-range finisher.

As RQ says, and myself, FEAR THE JAEGER! The reason you couldn't move your arms up higher is because they removed the upper arm actuators. One of the side effects of being able to have 1 more arm slot :)

you have to be very careful on the ramps there are gaps wide enough to man trap your mech. hopefully they fix this soon.

I am trying to Identify my Playstyle and at what range I should be and what weapon types. I find that the closer I get to the brawls the worse off I am, but too far away my aim suffers (I am very badly nearsighted irl). I do not like anything that relies on allied target locks because I find I waste ammo. as far as Mech Category I strongly dislike lights as their survivability hinges on moving fast enough that My aim goes right out the window, and most mediums feel like they don't pack enough punch, and Most Assaults feel way too slow and the moment I inevitably blunder into the heaviest concentration of enemies I am only half back behind cover by the time they have hammered me down. I find my self mostly wanting to play in the High end of heavies and sometimes the low end of assaults. some of that of course have exceptions... so what would one call such a play style? sticking to at least mid range and direct fire, and what mechs would work for that? oh, roughly 60 kph is a comfortable top end speed for me...

Sorry I am new to the game. Can someone explain why I don't see this mech in the store. I see JagerMech, but not the DE option. I see a number of other options but not with this hard point configuration.

This is a legendary mech that's not available for purchase! It was gifted at random to players based on play time for the year

@@velvalentine It is a Loyalty mech, not Legendary. It was not gifted at random. You had to earn 7 of the 9 loyalty options to unlock it. Loyalty mechs are available later on for MC and C-Bills, but without the special paint job.

I really like the game but I wish devs did some eye candy. I'm not asking for much but more shadows, grass, snow effects. It's 2023, it's not that hard to AI upscale textures now

It's so weird... your mech doesn't look squishy in the spechs.... would it be more ferocious if you dropped the autocannons down to 10s so you could increase its engine and spec skills in agility to avoid being a mobile dartboard? I could be way off the deep end with my suggestions btw... but if you could just swing that thing around to shoot instead of presenting a target.... actually your build would be amazing in the Solaris city map...

You could do that. You could have two LB10 and 2 mpl with a 300 engine. But, there are other jaegermechs that could do that better. Also, you'd be missing out on what makes this mech unique. It's the only Jaeger that can do LB20s, and it does them well. If it's your only Jaeger, though, who cares if another mech does it better?😊

Nods good point... this mech is starting to feel more like a jump-scare monster from Five Nights at Freddy's or a fun finisher from Mortal Combat... On the battlefield actually... all I know is getting hit by something like 2X LBX20's induces panic and flight instead of realizing may be vulnerable... shrugs, maybe I"m a coward @@Artificer1911

I dont think I'm the biggest fan of these legendary mechs conceptually. I mean yeah their build is super goofy and hilarious but it's also *their* build. If you build them any other way you're just wasting the bonuses. Also I haven't played mechwarrior online in years so for all I know all mechs have similar bonuses to specific weapons and legendary's are just better. I hope that's not the case lol

You're getting shot in the back because you keep pushing in front of others that are actively firing at targets. You look right at them, push in front to take a shot and then wonder why you're taking a hit from behind.
