What i like about the MRMs is that they are so simple yet the result looks so spectacular. That huge wave of rockets can intimidate everyone, even large scale assault, and dueto their speed little are lost to AMS. What i dislike about them is that they are named missiles even though they are dumb fire ROCKETS. But, semantics.

@@Oniphire That is not what I mean. All tiers are lumped into the same game pool now from what I been asking around. You can see your game tier does not mean the tiers are working as intended when the game started. Actual match making mechanics, not what you see on your HUD.

@@seb2750 You can be grouped with players who are within 2 tiers of your own, meaning at tier 3 you can be grouped with anyone and at tier 1 you can be grouped with players as low as tier 3. When I hit tier 3I started seeing tier 1 KZbinrs/steamers like Baradul. For what it's worth this is only to be helpful not pedantic: tiers display on the UI not the HUD. A HUD is more along the lines of what you see in battle

I get nervous in a catapult without something on the centerline to shoot. (That said, I did finish a game - last one standing, last volly, in this sort of thing. LRM/MRM mix.)

Had a brawler catapult I used to use back in the day. 1 large laser. 4 medium lasers. 2 srm 6's. That was mech 4 though. Don't know how well it would hold up in this game.

It's impossible to build that in this game because the hardpoints are limited. It could work on the C1 or Butterbee variants if you dropped a laser.

you can shoot: 4 SRM-6 4 SRM-4 6 SRM-2 before the ghost heat penalty

the ghost heat on firing 2 MRM40s is just over 1 heat...which is practically nothing also leaving the missile bay doors closed gives a damage reduction of 20%
