You got wrong info, USA hasn't supplied any kind of Rail guns to the Indian navy. Our Indian navy is working on its own indegenious rail gun project. During the 1971 war it was Russia that helped india, when America tried to help Pakistan by taking seige of India by sending its 7th fleet aircraft carrier uss enterprise to our waters, and assisting them were Britain, France, Iran, and Saudi, and some of their allied nations. It was only Russia, that came to our help by sending their flottilas and chased the US and its allies away from our waters during the 1971 war, this enabled, India to go on and emerge victorious against Pakistan. These favors from Russia we can never forget, Isreal was not our old allies like Russia, they started strategic ties with india only during the early and mid-90s, before that it was only Russia, who was our most trusted allies. And after all we shouldn’t close up more towards Isreal, because Isreal is an American puppet, and whatever weapons they sell us are just blue printed American copy, and America knows that they can't succeed in marketing and selling their weapons directly to india, so they try to sell it to us through, Isreal, and Isreal sells these blue print copy weapons to india, by labeling it with their own name. The main reason why we should stay away from Israel and USA is because, they are only trying to undermine our relationships with Russia, and capture our defense market, and sell us their old, outdated and obsolete junk material, like apache gunships, and chinooks, and earn big profits. Isreal will any time succumb to American pressure and put an arms embargo on India, and this can prove out to be very detrimental to our armed forces. For indo-russian ties to continue to stay firm, it's very necessary for India to distance itself from USA and Israel. Jai hind.

Barak 8, LCA ASEA radar, lightening pods, AWACS and what not. Did Russia transfer any technology when India bought SU30MKI? I am not saying Indo-Russian relationship is not important. But Indo-Israeli relationship is equally important. India makes frigates and destroyers with help of Russia and has radar and missile of Israel.

Transfer of technology by Russia is the main reason why we have named our sukhois-mki, due to achieving built under licence by HAL. Russia has always been open to provide india with transfer of technology unlike western countries like USA, UK and France. Brarak 8 has a lot of set backs too, it's unable to intercept hypersonic anti ship air launched sea-skimming missiles, nor it has the ability to intercept short to medium range ballistic missiles. What they have portrayed here in this video is only featuring the barak missiles intercepting supersonic aircraft and supersonic sea-skimming missiles. What about future emerging threats like hypersonic cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles??? Israeli aerospace is unable to built hypersonic cruise missiles, and anti ship missiles, that's the main reason why india is working on two separate joint ventures of brahmos missiles with Russia. One is the brahmos mini extended range, and the another one is the brahmos-2 hypersonic version. I don't think Israel along with its daddy America will be able to ever built a missile like brahmos. What happens if a strategy is used where a squadron sized drone decoy are sent first to attack thereby emptying the missiles defending the ship, then attacked by anti ship standoff missiles? It is possible to improve the electronics and sensors of the torpedo making it more capable of detecting submarine's signature and distinguish them from electronic jamming and deception measurements or make it TV guided just like innovating underwater armed drons or build underwater armed vehicle or visual with camera and build on library memory to identify targets and dispersing it from deceptive procedures. There is possibility to keep the helicopter's sonar with its EW sensors hovering in the water to chase the submarine and intervene to redirect the torpedo toward the target ....

I really want to see how acurate would this animation be in a real world...beause animation is nice but reality is always different...in this fight would especially depend on who will detect ships, planes and rockets and in what range, what time to react etc...its all about intel and detection or who will fire sooner also human mistake have to be implemented (read some automatic firing protection if someone slept on his watch)

Funny, but sea skimming supersonic missiles cannot be detected over horizon curvature soon enough and they give just about 5-6 seconds to engage any defensive measures since they are detected, which is not enough for any system. Concerning attacking planes, they would also go as low as possible to avoid detection + significant jamming will be deployed. If target ship is important, multiple missiles are going to be used to kill it coming from different sides, which basically is execution. Not to mention possible nuclear warheads.

Any sea skimming supersonic missile can be detected at a range of 15 - 20 km. If you take Brahmos missile, it will give 12 seconds for both detection and response. In 2002, when US cruise missiles failed to target Taliban. Both India and Russia joined hands to develop world's fastest and most accurate missile called Brahmos. Barak 8 was developed mainly to target Brahmos missile by Israel. In 2010 Israel partnered with India to develop world's quickest medium range SAM with 360 degree coverage to engage incoming missiles in close distances. Both Barak 8 and Brahmos use Indian Inertial navigation system, because of its accuracy. Today India has technology to deliver even large ICBM's with

well.. that movie is rather US bullshit, but 10+ missiles with 500kton nuclear warheads attacking carrier group at once from different vectors is almost unreal to survive. The ques is what were the other cruisers or destroyers doing or why didn't the carrier shoot any RIMs? thats not my point though..
