I suggest that next time, operatives should bring a bulldozer and other heavy vehicles/big heavy equiments like jackhammer to quickly demolish those obstructions. Imagine using one of those and just plow through the sidewalk, demolishing every obstruction along the path. Easy! Also bring with you the super incompetent and useless Mayor of the city. :)

Could the residents own the title to the land inside the UP Campus. Mga pabahay iyan sa mga teachers at empleyado di ba? Kagaya ng Fort Bonifacio sa BGC dapat ibinenta na yan para maging shopping complex kahit diyan ako sa Diliman gumraduate.

Gadget Addict, you're the ONLY vlogger who educates the public with your clear explanations of why the MMDA do what they do, ticket people for which violations- so others watching will be aware of what they CAN and CANNOT do. Real enforcement at last- but due to underfunding, lack of personnel, the enforcement is fleeting, sadly. Hope this will change when Pinoys finally have a change of the destructive, chaotic mindset that has allowed all these flouting of laws to continue unabated. Hurrah to Du30 for the SONA directive! Noticed also that a lot of times, the BARANGAY PEOPLE themselves are behind the illegal actions! I propose an END to the barangay system-- a structure that merely promotes CORRUPTION at the lowest government level!

It's very bad and Duterte should step in and say sorry no. Your fired. We as a government must set an example otherwise everybody will abuse the laws. Without laws there is chaos. Slow traffic. Dangerous for pedestrians. Hopefully eventually everybody will start to understand why the Philipines needs strict rules. Control isn't a bad thing. Without control in an intersection people are going to get killed or badly maimed. Good laws facilitate orderliness and a smooth system. And pleasant place for everybody to live.

What should be cleared from the campus are the squatters or informal settlers. The PNP claims the crime rate is high inside the campus. The squatters are Mainly the cause of a high crime rate. The UP is a place fir academe, research, and study. Residents not covered by UP rules on housing for teaching and its staff should live outside the campus. Thnx.

Gadget Addict i am from Q.C. and what that woman was saying that there was no warning is not true,P.A. from the Baranggay always announced from time to time that you will be demolish if your structure obstruct with the easement ,might as well demolish it yourself and dont wait for the DPOS or MMDA to clear it for they will come anytime of the day so if that woman says that she was not informed ,it is not true.

Gates that open outwards into the sidewalk and streets are so dangerous. They could hit and injure passersby and cars when the owner opens them. And they often leave them open for hours, obstructing the sidewalks and streets . Gates should only open inwards into the private property.

Demolition team must always reason the Building code.. Sidewalk is 1 to 1.5 meters. No structures to be constructed w/out bldg. Permit from the City engineer Even no Presidential order, the city engineer must implement it, and come with the demolition team.
