Great video. I had an extra loadout I wasn't using, so I set this up as much as I could. At the start of your BG, I like that you mention basically wasting the other team's time so your own team has time to do their thing. I've been doing this primarily in the last week or two, and have noticed an increase in our teams winning. It seems everyone wants to go after a frisky barb, and with 83 cheat deaths, they take a while to bring down. If you can get away for a heal, and all your stuff resets, you can waste even more of their time. I also like when we're the attackers, I will just run past the idol and engage/kite the defenders way in front of the idol. They want nothing more than to kill the pesky barb, which again, takes a while to do... meanwhile, the idol can travel a pretty good distance during this time. As soon as I die, I just run back and do it over and over again. I wastes a huge amount of time... almost every time theres 2-4 people on me trying to take me down. I'm not a very strong player, but again with the 47 cheat deaths on a barb... you can waste a LOT of time :D LOL I'm excited to try this build out in my next BG. I was using a firestorm stun charge WW combo with good success. I can't wait to see what this does.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed. Others and I have noticeable success with the tactic at the start as well. Getting out of p1 with as few deaths as a team is a huge advantage. The other factor is if you somehow survive or are able to res in p2 to start an idol the enemy will need to retreat past the first choke point. Again allowing your team to push further with fewer deaths.

Sheriff personally gave me this build and it instantly changed my success in the battle ground completely and I'm not nearly as strong as he is so even at lower res this build is extremely helpful

I use this build in vault as a shadow tbh. I typically don't defend vault as an Immortal since I find it more enjoyable to farm over needing to be on at specific times to defend.

Hey, talked to you on the live stream but just answering for anyone else reading that is curious. It's possible to use whatever you have available but Sundered Legacy and Broken Soul really elevate the build so it's preferable to use one of those.

Vengeance still works well with this build, that's np. Gives you good burst windows with auto attacks after charging.

Hey Lida. Would you say Frozen Heart can be a comparable gem to BOTW? I got rid of BOTW because of the "change" in the language of the damage. And how important is Chip to this build?

I would say Howler's is the weak link for gems here especially if you ever class change. Strictly speaking Barb I think Frozen Heart is fairly comparable and fine if you have it already. I personally have not tried it as it just wasn't worth the minimal difference to level it imo. However, Sheriff did try it and said this was his preferred setup but it's not like the difference was massively game changing. Chip is solid here since it can proc off Tremor and the stun Ancestral Power. At the moment the meta is all about cc and bursting during it. If that changes Chip will lose some value.

Honestly, fairly subjective to your server. Personally, I think Barb might be the weakest class in vault since they can be kited and locked up so easily. I always run Berserker's Sanity for helm to dispel a cc which has more value in vault than bg where it gets reapplied quickly most often.

Just clarifying you mean Wrath of the Berserker, if so that is the offhand essence Sundered Legacy. It greatly reduces the cooldown and provides a fire aura.

Bro what should i get for monk, 2/5 bsj or 3/5 echo shade. I have accumulated 64.5k plat in one month. I dont want to make bad decision. 3/5 bsj is above 100k in my server, it will take anither 20 days to collect the plat

Personally, I'd get BSJ. It's the best gem in the game imo. I don't find echoing shade that great on melee either tbh.

Great video. I run something very very similar except I dropped the mainhand essence for pathraze. Pathraze at times works better than sprint as you are able to do damage while dashing and it alsp procs gloom 2pc bonus

Thanks, glad you liked it! Barrier is viable but I think Tremor and even Jolt are superior in that regard. Vengeance is also good and perhaps better if you're lower reso since the burst will allow you to take stronger players out 1v1 at times.

Started playing in November last year ) and my legendary gem set up is : 1. Rank 2 2/5 Howler's 2. Rank 2 2/5 Pheonex ashes 3. Rank 5 Power and Command 4. Rank 3 Bloody reach ( to be replaced by a 2/5 Bloodsoaked jade from Pearl crafting in 2-4 weeks ( event dependant)) Fyi my main class is Necro but switched to Barb to switch things up. Will probably switch to Wizard once I finish the mastery system for Barb. Already have it done for my Necro lvl 60(571) 5. Rank 6 Beserkers eye 6. Rank 3 Fervent Fang ( currently have 4 duplicates to bring that to lvl 5) . So my question is do I get a Bottled hope(2/5 or 3/5 from the market ) in the upcoming week ( currently have almost 80k Plat (Silver Spire server)) , mainly for damage and movement speed buff in BG's or do I focus on getting my Howler's to lvl 3 , to unlock the stun effects of the gem ( by buying a 4/5 Howler' s duplicate from the market ). P.S I currently have a unbound 2/5 Howler's call in my stash.

Being privy to your character in game I have a little more insight to reply to this comment than some others. However, I'd say your build is nearly perfected for your character's strength (reso etc). Things like attacker warband room, Vengeance family tree and different essences can help you burst down some larger players in 1v1 situations and provide a solid asset to your team. Larger whales can make use of things like Sundered Legacy or Tremor tree to deal massive damage to all nearby targets.

Berserkers Insanity Wreckfall Gatherer Screaming Fury Eager Maelstrom Sundered Legacy 4pc Urges/2pc mount or gloom BSJ/Bile/Hope/Frozen Heart/Blessing/Phoenix or Howlers or even Concentrated Will if you’re spicy enough I still wanna see you use this control WW build with the helmet to escape CC from freeze/fear off necro/DH and wizards then run them down. Pull whole teams in one spot with your fire wrath, have bile proc, frozen heart and blessing proc, and charge them all.
