Having a good leader is good, however if the people do not love Righteousness they will vote for evil, and choose Barrabas over Christ, being progressive is a Democrat term that means the opposite since Democrats live in an alternate universe where good is evil and evil is good, when they say progressive they mean being backward, when they say woke they mean being asleep just look at Biden and you will see, affordable health care was unaffordable and not many would take it so Obama applied a penalty to our taxes to force people to take it, defunding the Police is taking Police from high crime areas which is mostly black people so they experience more crimes for the same tax that they pay, taxing the rich is a lie because the rich will pass on the higher operating cost to the consumer who are generally poor resulting in more tax for the poor.

That's correct. Unfortunately, our people have been kept in a state of illiteracy, ignorance, and political division by our incompetent tricksters called politicians. Hence, the voting populace has failed to hold these poppy shows accountable, instead, continue to revere and believe the lies they spew. I honestly dont see any of our politicians who is comparable to a Mia Mottley in education, intelligence, passion, or commitment to nation-building. The political stability, education level, international respect, standard of living are testament to the superior leadership in Barbados.

Queen Nanny of the Maroons can come back in 2021 and have the exact resume CV skills to get a job in tourism business. she doesn't need to know how to run a centrifuge. take a Japanese person from the same era and put them in Japan 2021 and they are not hire-able. 👉🏽 👉🏾 YOU WILL NEVER SEE A SPACE STATION 🛰️SPACE 🚀🇯🇲 built from Jamaica its [singing ,dancing, cooking, waving and fluffy pillows ] except you need 6 subjects now Jamaican children are born and raised to SERVE (on the island or aboard to others) its that simple 1+1 =2 this is why Sam Sharpe can come back and get the same job he had before. just a different queen name ruling out of Buckingham Palace too. on an island that is 97% black. In the infancy of our independence, I don’t believe we had the political chops or relationships needed to grow our GDP. By this, I meant, pharmaceutical, trade agreements, household products not made in J.A., lines of credit and the geopolitical connections that our queen had already established. Add that issue with the “Cuba Missile crisis” and Jamaica stance with its next door neighbor, only to get a flogging with the loans from world bank and IMF agreement. Plunging us further into debt. I see our politicians as if their hands are tied, meaning they can’t admit being controlled. No one is reach down to help us up or out of a rut. Except for when China step in to assist J.A., in building it infrastructure. But then again John! NO-THING-NO-FREE! Jamaica could have been the most leading country in the Caribbean economically if it was not for corruption particularly in government, and this has been happening from way back in the seventies. Just go back and see what we had then, bauxite, Air Jamaica, a vibrant coffee industry and the list goes on. What do we solely rely now only tourism. Look at the many politicians that have been implicated in corruption charges in both parties from then, not but one has ever paid the penalty from way back when. In no way the Jamaican dollar should be only better than Guyana right now. Even Haiti dollars is stronger than the Jamaican dollars. Government kept borrowing money and kept squandering it while tax payers have to be paying it back at high interest rate. All they make is promises during elections and hand out free food from tax payers money to get power. Some can hardly find basic commodities right now just to survive, yet when election time comes around they allow politicians to continue to take them for a ride. If we as Jamaican allow them to continue and don't hold them accountable, dog nyam we supper. It is time people start to think for themselves regardless of our political belief. May God help us.

If the queen is the head of Jamaica , then jamaicans are her subjects ! Therefore jamaicans should not need visas to visit the mother land which is the UK. jamaicans who are living in said country should not be deported at all. Uk is responsible to take care of her majesty subject.

Jamaican leaders are slow in everything, and they are not transformative at all. Trinidad and Barbados were always ahead of Jamaica in just about everything. There are so much things that can be done in Jamaica right now, that will not get done, because we don't have the aggressive, assertive leadership that we need to propell a country, a people forward. Jamaica is stuck!

What does becoming a republic have to do with the fortune of a country??? When Singapore became a REPUBLIC in 1965 it was economically worse off than JA. 30 years after that it is now a FIRST world country and the envy of ALL third world leaders. And remember despite Singapore having no natural resources it didn;t stop them from rising to the top. You people in this country love to support jokers, corrupters and anansy people-people who are MPs (Missing Persons) in their constituencis AND don't have the capability to run a country. "If you VOTE IN JOKERS, cranks, weak men/women, charlatans (swindlers) with some gift of the gab (talk a lot), you run a very serious risk of losing everything you have.” - Lee Kuan Yew (First PM of Singapore).
