I think Barbara is the most talented jazz organist in the world today. Her right foot is volume pedalling, the left foot is playing bass, her left hand is comping, the right hand improvising. I regard this as some kind of miracle. Thilo's playing here is also top rate.

Love Barbara and her music. She alwaya plays with the best musicians and is always at 100%. With a classic background she is beyond description! I wish she was my wife as I lost mine and have been a guitar player since a child. She amazes me and playing bass with her foot is off the charts. Most B3 players play left hand bass and she knocks it out of rhe ball park! A truly amazing and wonderful musician amd woman! I wish her the best and success she deserves. Wunderbar!

As a piano player (amateur), I'm amazed at how much tone range Barbara can coax out of that organ. (She even managed to throw in some excellent vibraphone sounds!) Top-tier musicianship by Barbara and the entire band.

Nope, her touring B3 is from the early 1960s.

@@hans1970 Ok it may be a Hammond B3 Portable Bertram transformed in Germany. It was still very heavy! It also has a MIDI socket to drive an expander placed on it. Thus, we can have vibraphone sounds. Barbara has belongings sitting on her bench. Excuse my English, I'm French!

@@bobcomment8589 As luck would have it, Barbara and I were talking this month about her touring B3 being in the shop for some service work. I happened to ask her how old it was, and she said it was from the early 1960s. She had it built into a customized touring case early on in her career, and (if my memory serves) had a midi added in the 1980s. By the way, your English is great Bob, Cheers. And yes it is VERY heavy.

Известно, что обычно у человека больше подвижна правая рука и правая нога. Ну или наоборот, если он левша. У пианиста одинаково развиты обе руки. А у органиста - и обе ноги 😂
