Eu perdi minha espôsa para Deus, mas esta música me traz muita tristeza, por saber que ela não está mais aqui comigo; foram mais de 63 anos de união, contando com o tempo de namoro. Muito Obrigado meu Deus.

I was born late Dec, back in "63"...Motown was the best, although the greatest song ever recorded, That's the Way of the World by Earth Wind and Fire. Now let's get back to the Legendary Barbara Lewis. I thought of so many wonderful things I can say about her. Oswaldo Insanus Brazil, her outstanding live performance was simply marvelous, style and grace has never looked so Grand. I would say Barbara stands alone when it comes to Class, she out did herself in concert with "Hello Stranger"...she just went all out and perfected this song. Her beautiful singing voice will forever bring me joy and happiness never ending, in spirit riding it all the way to eternity. On the flip side; we all have an old flame hidden, wishing it had worked out in the beginning, picking up where it had ended; but this time no one walks away. "remember that's how it use to be, shu-bop-shu-bop my baby ooh, seems like mighty long time"...Hello Stranger

Barbara Lewis was way before my time, however my momma and daddy were such big fans of hers, and I always heard her songs being played around the house! I can see mom and daddy slow dancing in the living room. Barbara Lewis is the epitome of beauty, grace, charm, elegance and dignity. I am just blown away by her beautiful voice. She looks so beautiful, and she is so happy to be on that stage as she addressed the audience. This song reminds me of my husband who I love so very much. This is an example of when music was music, and lyrics meant something. New skool? Take notice!

In 1963 myself and 3,000 other GI's were on the USS BILLY MITCHELL passing under the Golden Gate Bridge on our way to KOREA when this song came over the loud speaker and someone said that if we threw our hats into the bay as we passed under bridge , we were assured our sweethearts would be waiting for us in a year when we returned home. almost every hat was soon to be seen floating behind the ship. It worked for me!
