I had that EXACT same couch as the one in Mary's apt! Had it for YEARS - was one of the most comfortable couches I ever owned!

I am thoroughly enjoying these episodes. Barbara Rodell's Joyce Colman was the female version of GL's Roger Thorpe. Just as with Roger, no matter how villainous her actions, her self-destructive tendencies and her love for Teddy made her a sympathetic character. Also, Carol Stallings was such a sweetheart. I wish she had stayed longer and worked alongside Lisa at the Fashions Limited salon (which took over the Wade Bookstore as a gathering place). I still remember being shocked when Jay Stallings was killed off offstage. He was a much more sympathetic antihero than the blustering, chauvinistic Steve Andropolous (who was not good enough for Carol or Betsy as a husband).

I liked Jay a lot, but Steve was a extension of Jay. It is bizarre that Carol would marry Steve after all of the problems she had with Jay, even though he was the love of her life. Steve and Carol were not compatible and they had no chemistry.

I noticed the same thing that Joyce was similar to Roger Thorpe EXCEPT Joyce changed in to a good person, but Roger Thorpe turned evil and never went back!!

I love how Lisa was jealous for a split second when she heard about Kim and Grant’s date,, but then immediately shifted into being happy and excited for Kim.

I can't believe Grant and Kim were going out! I was in school then and didn't get to watch for months at a time, but summer vacation and Christmas break I would watch. I remember her with John and Dan, and then later with Nick. And I remember grant with Lisa and Joyce menacing them both while she was married to Don.

@@stanbrown32 same here, i only watched summer and Christmas break, it was something about Joyce that frighten even me back then as a teenager. i dont remember Kim with Grant but i have always known about John Dixon being Andy's dad, but i remember Kim went on to get involved with Nick and i had a feeling that would not work out and then Bob whom she married and had Christ, the perfect couple, then i remember years before when Bob was married to Kim's sister Jennifer, Barbara's mother and Franny's mom, just didnt realize Bob also dated Kim back then and also had Bob's child Sabrina whom i was shocked to discover they looked identical. the character who originally played Frannie went on to become a big star/. Jennifer'found out and was deeply hurt by Kim. what i am confused about is the Stewart's, i know that Betsy is Dan Stewart's daughter just dont know who her bio mom was because Kim became Betsy's stepmom when she married Dan, also Emily is a Stewart as well just not sure which Stewart Susan was involved with because there was another brother, i was thinking Emily was also Dan Stewart's daughter just not sure because Betsy and Emily never seem to be close. Susan who was also married to Dan disliked Kim for remarrying him.
