@JoeBilello1969Ай бұрын
Ya see the ole' go-to cry of the ignorant is always "envy" or the good ole" "you're a racist" fall-back position, instead of your Ad hominem attack let's talk about how Carson used his position to totally disrespect, shame and spread egregious false rumors about Wayne Newton all because Newton got a one-up on him in a business deal, yeah he was a real humanitarian!!! You do realize how certain "charitable contributions" aide people like Carson in the whole tax write off thing right?!?!? I'm sorry, but history as I've read it, paints him as more of a prick than anything else.......and sorry, I'm doing very well in my life and haven't an "envious" bone in my body, ya see people like you and YOUR mind works like that, unfortunately most people are and are also the first to accuse others of the most vile traits that they themselves possess. "If you smelt it you dealt it", catch my drift?
@JoeBilello1969Ай бұрын
So let me write this again because it seems that truth is frowned upon. Ok, it seems to me that there's more out there about Carson that paints him as more of a prick then some sort of humanitarian. How about we speak of him using his bully-pulpit as just that when he attacked, defamed, embarrassed and totally harrassed Wayne Newton simply because Newton one-uped him in a business deal, yeah he was a really nice guy!!! Let's also not forget that for people like Carson some trivial donations are more beneficial to him tax wise than they are to him as he actually being philanthropic!!! When you read between the lines it becomes clear that he was money mad, yeah he may have splurged here and there, but for the most part he hoarded his money and died with mostly all of it, so just how philanthropic was he??, it seems that he was more akin to giving his money away to women who didn't even care for him than he was about taking care of his own children. He wasn't a nice guy, just think about the things he did to and said about Joan Rivers behind her back!!!

Carson did not stay away from politics. I watched The Tonight Show all through the 1970s and 1980s. He dealt with it in a way that would make people laugh. For example, he spoke in this video of the faux pas of James Watt (who had been Reagan's Secretary of the Interior) in a light-hearted, funny way.
