Mentioned this in my twitch resub but picked this up over the steam sale and its been so good. Finally beat this boss so I can watch this episode now lmao.

"So what I understand and have heard is it's completely pointless to go after the tail" ... That doesn't bode well for the success. Basically you need to destroy everything involved with the boss to phase them and then they typically take a turn grace period. For this boss you only have to kill the head in the third phase to finish the map which is probably why you heard that but yeah the tail and head each have to die twice to reach phase 3. GG's though, had a feeling this would be the run. I honestly think you'll have an easier time with the next map than Lakeburg with the new unlocks and understanding. If I were to offer one tip it'd be to unlock the Warp Gate tech as being able to TP your heroes to up to 6 spots on the map is a huge blessing.
