Barbel and Chub fishing on the River Thames - Farnham Angling

This one I was excited but apprehensive about. I always love the thought of Barbel fishing, but when put in to practice it never seems to work for me. I have tried a few times over the years with little success. But I already knew this would not be easy, 1: it’s the Thames, and we don’t get on, 2: it’s not an easy stretch for Barbel by and stretch, as proven in this video. I mean, yes I did catch, but not the intended quarry. But as always I had fun.
