Had some very good barbel in floods using loads of worms in mole soil with ground bait . Has anyone seen barbel in flood coming right to the bankside with fins comeing out like sharks tight to the bank clearly looking for worms ect ! I had this on a few occasions on top end of Warrington stretch years ago and chuch deeps .

Can’t beat a bunch of worms in flood conditions. Even better, they are a freely available bait! I have a box of worms and feed at the ready all year round. Worth a video on this, next time it floods
