Brilliant video bud. How the snowy scenes make the river look more serene 😊

Trying to learn how to catch fish. I'm a newbie. I want to get better so I can take my nieces and nephews someday. Awesome informative video thank you sir 👍
@AtlauaFishing
Certainly with you on the move away from treble hooks! Lovely video mate and a real shame about the big common carp! 😢🎣

Beautiful video mate! I've just got to give the Ribble a shot for pike with the fly! but big single hooks only for me! I hate trebles, I can remember spinning for trout years ago and hooking them in the back of the head, tail and once in the mouth with both jaws clamped together! no more! at the time no- one had thought of changing the hooks. You obviously know this river inside out! well done Ian👍👍👍

Hi Ian, it's great to see you back to what you do best.

Hey man nice video. For pike fishing it's definitely better wire or titanium leader than fluoro, no matter what but fluoro up to 1mm could be cuted by jaws.. I'm fishing barbless treble hook as well ..but you nèd to be mors stiff and less lose on the reel .as soon as the pike is taking line you will lose it otherwise. Cheers

It's the little nir nir nirniring about at the end. Bit of antidote to that tragic sight of the carp. Still had its tail. And some swimming capacity. Slim chance it will pull through...

Lovely video again. I am looking to get into lure fishing on the river/ canal. Could you recommend a rod or rod/ reel combo.The rod in your video looks good. Very local to you, but not a member of prince albert so have to go on the free stretch. Love fly fishing for chub on those lovely summer evenings too. Cheers
