Film making might be an art but films are not. Movie making is a business. They are selling something and I am buying something. And when I am spending some hard earned money, I have every right to know about the product. People see his reviews for various reasons - they connect with his views, for entertainment, or to know if a movie is worth watching. I saw your review on Guntur Karam and gaami. You both shared the same verdict. The way you presented is different but the answer is same. So what’s the difference between you and him? I feel that your whole rant is coming from a negative bias that you had towards him.

Whatever the review of the barbell it's Just his opinion and it's just his point of view Others may or may not be on his side. But for me I think he has better explanation and valid points in his review which are mostly acceptable.

Rant as much as you want, this is your opinion on barbell, like same way barbell has opinion on the films he review. I agree with him about lags in the movie (actually most of ppl who went to movie agree about it). I understand few plots are important for story building even though it drags the story and lags movie, but if more such plots are present in the movie it disturbs the overall experience of the movie, like yelachi is important for biryani aroma and taste, we would tolerate one or two. but if they are added more it would disturb the overall biryani.

Why can't people just accept different opinions. it's his channel(barbell) and people subscribe to him because they share his taste in movies ig. It's not a valid argument dismissing someone's opinion entirely. Having different opinions are now being dismissed.

Dude I suggest you have some discussions with people who critique your view before targeting another person’s view and posting. His feeling of lag came from a typical screenplay template used multiple times in similar films to the point he got accustomed to It and it feels laggish to him. He wasn’t saying lag as in what they shot was stupid without a thought, but was expressing this is how he feels after watching so many similar movies and when he saw the same Template in this film. Barbell is highly opinionated and he accepts it and does give the audience the feel of what he says is his perspective and is not a completely objective review. There is no reason for you to call him worst reviewer when he is doing absolutely nothing to spread any negativity. Understand what people mean by the sentences rather than taking the sentences at face value and ranting about it

"in guise of intellect", he never claimed that. He acknowledges his lack of knowledge on 'cinema'. But a lot of movie goers consume movies like him. So, they follow him. They call it "lag" when the pacing doesn't feel right to them. It's a valid point. Don't act like they invented that shit coz they lack your ELITE knowledge on screenplay or whatever. I too don't agree with most of his lag complaints. I didn't feel saripodha streched, even though I hated it. But it's just his opinion, like you have yours. You can counter it, fine. But there's no reason in being this infuriated over a nuance of opinion. it's not healthy. And moreover, I wouldn't advise you on throwing around the word "illeterate" like that. Cool!!

I used to love barbells videos. But lately he's not watching the movie and just analyzing it through out. That takes out the emotional connect with the characters and story. I think movies are more about making you feel something and not satisfy some blueprint which is just a pre conceived notion you have from watching certain movies.

At this point, it just feels like a personal attack on barbell. Present valid facts on why you don't think there's lag in the movie. He has given his reasons on why it felt slow for him. The movie follows the same old template. Conveniences on every major turns. When your last film is ante sundaraniki which was a 180° flip on love stories, it's fair to expect the same from a commercial movie. But you just followed the same old template and just maybe tried to do a cash grab, it obviously infuriates his fans. All the goodwill he earned through his previous films might be lost. Anyways, that's barbell's opinion just like your opinion on something which is on a public platform. If you wanna disagree then present valid arguments and why you think he's wrong.

Ok you are claiming that Saripodha Sanivaram is a super good film?? If yes , then who are you to tell that. Its just your opinion right?? If Barbel says lag its his opinion thats it. He is not saying "Nak nachaldhuu meeru chudakandi". Ok teach me then how to watch a movie in your words. Should I study screenplay? Should I know direction? Or any other things of 24 crafts of the movie? As a viewer movie should engage me , gives a better viewing experience and should hook me till the end. Ok tell me then what makes you watch the film till the end without any lag or anything?? Its just an average routine template telugu film. "Parldhu okasari chudochu" kind of film. Saripodha Sanivaram fails in many aspects even action sequences not so worth to watch. In paper Saripodha Sanivaram is so good concept but as a director Vivek Athreya done an average job. We can only watch for Dhaya character and Jakes music. Don't just cry on others. If you hate his reviews don't watch them.

No it’s really lag, what you would say rather than using bad words he us atleast using a generic word. The character development should be in a way that it is engaging, it’s not a series bro to sit and watch for seasons inorder to get the feel of character. You need to get into the character in a short movie and dive into the world. You are mentioning @barbellpitchmeeting make sure you see his previous videos. He is genuine, he is the one type of reviewer we need so that we get more quality movies. Once upon a time u need to pay 110-150 for a movie but now you are paying 300 bro, you can’t go and sit in a movie and say it is good for the movie sake. Tell them to decrease prices then no one will point out mistakes. He had his fruastation, he travels for 6 hours for each movie and he has the right to speek on his experience. You with 1k subscribers dont talk shit to become famous by reviewing the reviewers, if you are that hurt then do one thing, spread the positive talk dont review him, review the movie. Why would higlight such person even if you dont like him.

I'm making a detailed essay on why he's a bad reviewer, this was just a rant so there's not much in the video, it was just an unscripted impromptu rant. 1. Never used a bad word in the video, the one I used has been muted beforehand. 2. Not every movie needs to be fast paced, I'm not talking about Saripodha Sanivaaram in particular, that movie is fast paced. 3. I've been watching him way before his Pitch Meeting channel when he would make fitness related content, I would watch his videos on a regular basis and was one of the first people to subscribe to his Pitch Meeting channel. 4. I still pay 150 for a ticket. 5. Nobody is asking him to travel hours to watch a film, he's getting his watch time and adsense. He's actually earning money through this unlike people who love him like you do. 6. I don't even have 1k subscribers. 7. I don't even want to become famous by "reviewing reviewers", this is something I do for fun not a serious profession, I have other things to do in life. 8. I'm nobody to "highlight" him, he's way bigger than I am. 9. The film will become a hit regardless, my issue wasn't with his Saripodha Sanivaaram review, it's with his reviews in general.

See everyone is entitled to have their own opinion and coming to SariPoda sanivaram . I don’t know about you, but there are major number of people whom I spoke and they said it was so laggy. Even I felt the same after watching the movie and your video too. Ante had too much criticism and similarly Saripoda is getting too much hype…. It’s the weakest work Vivek …..

Basically, unengaging or unhooking lengthy scenes which lacks Emotion or convenience or non narrative stuff …. is Lag…( my definition ). Like climax in Saripoda Sanivaram , Kalki bhairava intro etc… If a scene lacks something the above called Lag in layman terms.

​@@DesiBoIl attention spans vary but a director has to add scenes that hold value regarding the story, once you feel a scene is not valuable to the plot happening, you feel "lag". you see this "value" only when you connect with the characters enough. its just a matter of taste.

Nope my attention span is fine… if that so, how could I watch length web series and anime in one go…. So, definitely there’s problem in the movie. See, the unhooking lengthy scenes did gave much output…at least for me. Even the director would have thought that “The audience would hooked to the emotion/ soul of the film”. That’s why he would have made scenes long but sadly it was u engaging and director failed here… My friends and parents also felt the same.

His sanivaaram review is bad, sure, but I don't think he ever tried to act like an intellectual lol. he's pretty grounded with his opinions, he just tells what he felt and what he did not like abt a movie in a simple way, like most people. He gets lots of views because he talks like an actual audience member and not an intellectual critic. I don't think he's reviews are "damaging" to films, the only people who spout shit like tht are intellectual wannabes filmmakers or enthusiasts, most regular people don't care.

What funny i found was he named his yt channel as Barbell pitch meeting where he can't even lift a 40kg superior barbell & there's no pitches or meetings happening around him 😂😂😂 he thinks like he's the Satyajit Ray of telugu cinema where in reality he's not even Robert De Weide 😅
