Thanks! I'm headed down to Barber fro the first time in a little while, and that video was really helpful.

I just did Barber for the first time, in my M2 Comp. Great track but my favorite is still VIR for its uphill esses, and long straights that benefit high powered cars. It also has the elevation changes and technical sections but not as much risk with lots of run-off and fewer walls to worry about.

My fav as well, and definitely a great guide around it. I'd only add the tower as an aiming point coming up the hill at 4, and as you kind of mentioned, 7 irl is actually nowhere near as twisty as on the map - once you get a couple laps in you can easily turn in at the right place to take that straight through and ride the curb on the left (as you did in the POV). Love these videos, and cant wait to go in a couple weeks with you again! #mjf

This is my home course! If I DID have a track day car it'd be a Z or an 86. But, Doesn't Barber usually favor high-powered vehicles?

Most tracks favor the car you're currently driving on them. But barber I'd say no honestly, not a lot of straight-aways. Road America and Autobahn Full course are good tracks for lots of power.

@@hunterdelgado2402 Would low horsepower cars be best for starting out in track driving as well?

@@cyberneticxylem9614 Yes. Learn to drive a low-power car on 200+ tires. Get a 944, Miata, etc. At Barber, I track an LS-powered Panoz GTS-WC, raced a Spec E36, track a 2016 Cayman S, Miata NB, a 944 with a 3.ol 968 engine and a vintage stock car. The most fun I have here is in the Miata and am taking it to Road Atlanta this weekend, Sebring in December. After about 2300 laps at Barber, I can say this video is "must see" and pay attention to the T4 warnings. T12 is dangerous, too.

I just started track events this year. My first track was Barber Motorsports Park. The rest are canceled until Corona is calm. I like the video because my car is around 3100 lbs and 347WHP, but FWD.

Nurburgring > BMP but the ring is across the ocean so this would have to be my favorite track.
