After more than 1000 laps at Barber, I HIGHLY recommend this video and I review it before every race and track day. The only change I suggest is not banging the curb in T11 and T13. While it IS the fastest line for most cars, my data says it doesn't gain much (any?) time and adds to the mechanical stress on the car. That said, this is the best Barber lap tutorial I have ever seen.

Loved this video -- have been thinking of trying Barber (coming from Atlanta area). LOVE the clean lap presented at the latter half of this video too.

headed to Barber in just a few days. think I have watched this video at least 8 times now. I've got a few more days to watch then make it count. Appreciate the insight and pointers.

Great tutorial! I’ve been doing Barber annually since 2005. Still learned a bit from this. (And reinforced things I know but still have to force myself to do.). Thanks for sharing.

Great video for novice drivers at Barber. Don Yaun did one for MVP for Road Atlanta that is excellent as well. As an instructor videos like these cause my students to cause less stress! Thanks! ;)

How can I get the telemetry at the bottom for my ride?

You must have a data logger such as an Aim SoloDL and then use software to overlay the data.

TrackAddict is also very good and automatically syncs your phone's data log with the video on Windows. It is Android only however. I use an old obsolete Android phone with the recommended 10Hz Bluetooth GPS module. EDIT - I am informed that is is also available on iOS currently. Don't know why anyone would use one of those though ;-)
