What a wonderfully refreshing and entertaining interpretation. I have shared this with a professional violinist friend who has responded with her absolute delight. Fantastic! Wonderful arrangement that captures the entire overture quite nicely. The cello, itself, is a very pleasant nod to the comic barber dancing around as he marvels at himself. Exploring the range of each part was just plain neat. Technique is essential and almost unnoticed because the music is such fun. Very well done!
